A woman with a very thick accent called and asked for person handling employee benefits.  I told her that person is never in this office and I could take a message.  She said she would call back and again I told her the benefits person is never in this office.  She hung up.  IDIOTS!!!!!

I wonder if this is a Google Voice number or something, considering the variety of responses on here.

They called me while at work, said they were looking for someone who enetered a Voctoria's Secret raffle.  We said we didn't know what he was talking about.  He asked if anyone was willing to take the prize.  The prize was 50 dollars and free clothing.  He proceeded to ask my bra size and underwear size.  He also asked what kind of underwear I was wearing at the moment for an additional 50 dollars.  WEIRDO!  Don't answer for this number.

Unfortunately, several of my phones lack caller id.  This is one of many robocalls I have received asking for someone I do not know.  I have read that a few unethical bill collecting companies get lists of phone numbers which may no longer be valid and keep calling these numbers.  (I am current on all of my bills.  They are looking for someone else.  )  It is impossible to select the option for "no, I am not ...." and get someone on the phone.  Once I pretended I was their intended target and got someone on the phone, explained that the phone number does not belong to the person they are trying to reach, and told them to correct their records.  They don't do that.
It should be illegal for bill collectors to make these calls with no responsibility for calling the correct person.  They get around the "do not call" list because they can claim to have a business relationship with the person they are calling.

I think they called 3 times today, no message. I just read all the
entries here and I'm concerned. Seems like this is some insidious
scam outfit (possibly working out of some LA, CA prison or 'boiler
room?), a phishing or ID theft scam that possibly uses firmware
hacking/viruses to 'clone' cell phone and land line numbers, and
to hack phone number and name info from Caller ID devices and
cell phones. The several posts here reporting people from this #
being rude or obcene suggest a bunch of crooks in some slimy
hole of a 'boiler room.'  There is also a suggestion that they may
be recording voices (e.g., saying your name or "Yes") to possibly
use in some CC or bank fraud/scam/theft. Probably best to NOT
talk to these crooks, just report the # to any & all law enforcement
or govt agencies. I would BEWARE this #.

I have beeen getting several calls a day from this number, no one ever on the other end. Rather than reporting these calls to the DNC site, the gov should monitor 800notes and whocalledus! The Verizon FIOS call blocking is utterly useless.

Go on line and inquire about a 'Digitone' call blocker. Any repeated unknown callers plus, and one ring and there blocked. I love it.

ok to people who dont know this , telemarketing companies now have machines that call you and wait to see if you will answere if you dont it calls back till you do and when you do it will call back till you answere it 3 times , this now tells the main computer of a telemarketing agency what times you are home , it then adds your # to the list of #s to call at what ever time it finds that you are home , if someone calls and you answere and they say nothing , start pushing random #s quickly on your phone , this then tells the machine that called you that it has reached a fax machine and then automaticaly (yup you got it) removes your # from the list. another thing i like doing is when a telemarketer calls , simply tell them to hold on a sec for what ever reason and set the phone down till it start beeping , rather than the telemarketer wasting your time , you just wasted his.

This number called me saying they were UPS and had a delivery for me.  When I told them UPS never calls they just deliver they hung up

cid just said California. I too have a Digitone Call Blocker, as mentioned by another blogger. I will simply block it so that it wil NEVER be able to call again. Love this little machine.

Try 1-888-382-1222. FTC automated line to report phone fraud and telemarketing scams. Just found it this  morning, so I don't know if it will really help, but worth a try anyway. Takes a couple of minutes and you have 30 seconds at the end to leave a comment.

telephone number 213-330-0187 calls my home every single day more than 4 times a day.  This has been going on for at least one year now.  I have the right to live in peace and when I try to call this number back a very, very, very LOUD recording comes on saying the number can't be reached.  I am at my wits end with this nonsense constantly interferring with my home life.  I can not eat, nap, sleep, read, shower, watch a tv program or have a conversation with a guest without this number calling my home, invading my privacy and constantly disrupting an otherwise peaceful life.  PLEASE HELP!  SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Just got a call from this number - at 9:30PM ON A SUNDAY!!! The lady had a very heavy accent and wanted me to let her lead me through a series of steps to "locate junk files and malicious software" on my computer...since it was from CA on cid, i adopted a "valley girl" accent, said like constantly and told the woman on the other end that "i like dont need your services like i already have like that" lol
