Keep getting calls and I wish they would stop.

Got a call AGAIN just now (second time in two days).  Sounded like the same kid saying the "National Association of Conservation Voters" or something.  Thanked me for my support in the past (don't remember supporting them) and then I said couldn't help them.  As I was about to hang up I hear him saying something about would I be able to contribute in the next two weeks.  Hysterical.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone.  I paid $2.99 for Advanced Call Block and it blocks all callers not in my telephone directory, and either allows them to leave a message or just hangs up on the called.  Right now I have it set to allow messages.  This number never leaves a message, but also I never know that they have called until I see their number in my call history list.  The Advanced Call Block software for the Android phone is well worth the three dollar chage.

Got a call from this company today.  Thanks so much for calling!  They alerted me to someone using my Social Security Number!  Very polite and professional.

Got a call from this company today.  Thanks so much for calling!  They alerted me to someone using my Social Security Number!  This is NOT MCI Worldcom...MCI is just the carrier for the phone service, In fact the business is a Collection agency SO If you get a call you either own money or like me someone is using your info!  Now I have contacted the proper authorities and will be prosecuting the bad guy who by the way is in prison already for this type of thing.

I have already received two calls from that # 213-330-0187 this morning, so they even call on a holiday.
I have received them in the past week or so too.
I don't take calls that I don't recognize, so I have no idea who it is or what they would say if I answered them.  
Guess I will have to put a block on this number after reading all of these complaints.  Some people have nothing better to do with their lives than to harass other people.
I do hope someone has reported this number and have them stopped.
Oh, by the way, before my service takes the calls, these people hang up, so there is never a message left.

I called my mom yesterday from my cell phone (which is not this number - I live in a state clear across the country from California), when I called, this is the number that popped up on her caller ID. I had been at my mom's house, about a 5 minute drive from mine, shortly before, so when I called her, she asked in a surprised tone, "Where are you calling from? The called ID says you are in LA!"

This is odd. We got a call from relatives of ours who live in Italy and the number that popped up on the caller id was this one. We live in Virginia and when I saw "California" and "213-330-0187" I almost hung up thinking it was a sales guy. I'm glad I stayed on the phone for a few seconds because then I could hear our aunt in Italy saying hello. Strange. Maybe this number is popping up randomly from the looks of all the messages above.

I looked up MCI contacts and submitted a text message to customer support with the caller number and source information provided by Melinda and this website address. I suggested that if this is a legit MCI #, they stop the harrassing calls. I also suggested that if it is not a legit MCI #, they use their corporate clout to locate and stop/prosecute whoever is sending them to protect their company image.

Same with me. Calls daily and no one is ever on the line. I tried to call back, but the call could not be completed. Going to file a consumer complaint with the Attorney General of my state.

Caller Id displayed the number as a California cell phone.  When the machine picked up it had the sounds of a fax machine trying to send a message.

I got a call from this number saying they were a private investigator and to call another number because there are supposed legal charges against me, I called the number and they would not tell me who they were unless I would give them my information. I called the state police and they said that I was to refer the caller to them.

Received a call from 213 330 0187 , answered it and was addressed by my first name.
I am on the do not call list.
Told her that I am not doing any business over the phone

Something wierd about all of these calls being routed through this same LA Calif. number three call from 213-330-0187 today which I did not answering seeing I do not know the number.  Come to find out they were all from my Brother in a federal prison as we figured this out via e-mail.  His calls normally come in as "out of area"
With the diverse accounting posted from people here (daughter calling Mom, friend from Italy and so on), I wonder what the heck is going on with rerouting.

My home is on the Do Not Call List and repeatedly gets hang-up calls from this number.  When I tried to call this number, it automaticly went to BUSY.  Can any provide any information on this phone number or it's origin?

I am very annoyed that this same number has called several times.   I get upset as I have a granddaughter living in LA and it scares me something is wrong when a call comes and I do not reconize the number.

Keep getting this number on the call id on my home phone, sometimes up to 7 times a day, for about 3 weeks now.  Getting really frustrated because like when I call this number back I just get an automated message that it is no longer in service... How can it possibly be out of service but yet still keep calligng me (and others) back so much everyday?
