same message I got only from a Ms. Ward, what a bunch o A**holes. Since I hadn't heard of AILMich I googled and found this page. Leave it to be I wont be calling. Just makes you wonder what kinda of lowlifes do we let run around in this country, scammers everywhere.

I received an email from Al Rumbac for American Income Life Insurance.  
He said my resume was forwaded to him and wanted me to call between the hours of 9 and 11am to set up an interview.

I've gone to a couple job interview/scams recently and so I am being more careful.  This place looks like a sales position type scam job.  I'm glad you all posted your comments here before I made the effort to call them back.

I also did receive a voicemail from a Ms. Holder stating she was from AIL a division of Torchmark Corporation.  She said that she received my resume submittal, but I don't recall sending one to them, probably got my resume off of Monster or Careerbuilder like others have noted on here.  Her extension was 112.  

Then it clicked for me, I have been to an interview with this place before in the past.  I think they sell gap insurance to union members only like Aflac does for everyone.  From what I can remember, there was a lot of people there for the same position and I think it was straight commission maybe a bonus to, but they went through a whole presentation.  I think I left when offered the choice to stay or leave as I was there a long time.

Anyway, I'm not even going to bother calling them back to set up and interview.  They wanted to set one up tomorrow morning and I have a prior appointment to attend to so I'm not going to waste my time or effort on this place again.

I just received a call from a Ms. Holder.  Same line used as mentioned. This time the extension was x112. It's a shame.

They just called me from 248-283-5382-they switched the number by one probably because people were complaining-said i sent them something from monster.com-called back and got a strange answering machine.

This sounds like a scam and after reading these postings will not go for the "interview"!

I thought this sounded funny....I got the same call a lady named Kelly Irwin called me, said her supervisor saw my resume on career builder and thought that i would fit the criteria for the job....Im like what job, I dont remember applying for a job in Troy.  Tells me to come to 901 Tower Dr. Ste # 100 @ 10:15am.  I am really glad I thought to research this and came across this site.

I received a call from Beverly Weis??? in HR who claims to have been forwarded my resume from her boss.  She immediately wanted to ask me questions about my education and the line of questioning was suspicious. I never reveal personal without knowing for sure who I am speaking with.  So,I turned the tables and asked her to tell me about her company and asked why she was calling.  She claimed they were hiring direct into their company for sales and sales managers position, none of which I had applied for.  Her info was very vague, so I kept asking questioning.  At that point she stopped me and said "I won't waste any more of your time" and hung up.

SOMEONE NAME VIVIAN CALLED STATES THAT SHE WAS LOOKING OVER MY RESUME AND HAD FEW QUESTION SHE WANTED TO ASK ME. AND SHE WILL BE IN HER OFFICE UNTIL 5:10p, then she won't be back in office until MONDAY OR TUESDAY.

Thanks so much. We almost drove from Midland to Flushing for this. I would've been so bummed. I appreciate the posts that let us know what was really going on.

I received a "restricted" call and didn't answer. The message was the same as the others. "This is Ms.so-n-so in the HR Dept of American Income, your resume was forwarded to me by Monster. I have your resume and I have a couple of questions. Please call back at 248.283.5388 X115 i'll be here until 5:15p, if you can't reach me today, i'll be available tomorrow from blah-to-blah and if you can't reach me then i'll be available monday and tuesday from blah-to-blah"
