- Boffa Dees NutsReceived cold call from Mr. Nagle on 1-3-10.
Said he was from AIL Co., 901 Tower Dr., Suite 100, Troy,MI 48098
His company is looking for people posted on Monster.com to sell Life insurance for his company to ex-automotive people who were forced to take buy outs. Wanted me to come in for an interview with Mr. Ellison, he read me the dress code and requirements for an interview.
I have no interest in becoming a life or any other kind of insurance PIMP, so I told him I'd call him when I was interested. Commission only pay. Who's going to buy insurance when they can't even keep their home or feed their family?
Caller I.D. read: American Income, 248-687-7790 - VictoriaI got an e-mail from a Dianna Ray wanting to schedule an interview for a part-time human resources/recruiting position. Being a recent college graduate and having a difficult time finding a job I was completely pumped, even e-mailed her back confirming the interview time, but my excitement was short-lived! First I have no human resources/recruiting experience, and second I thought it was odd I received an e-mail, not a phone call, telling me they think I'm a good potential candidate. Usually nowadays before you get to the interview process you have to undergo phone interviews. Then upon doing some research about this company I stumbled upon this site. Thanks to all these postings I've saved my time and gas, since I'll clearly not be attending this friggin interview! It's really sad how many scams are out there, and how careful you have to be. How the hell can companies like this get away with their scams and lies? How Pathetic!!!

The above is what I received in an email. What the heck is this about? I was excited and looking forward to scheduling an interview. I'm glad I did some research on the phone number. I'm not going to waste my time calling. Thanks everyone for posting!! - WTFI received a call from this lady Holder as well. I think its a un-employment calling number. That is if you answer the call and say something to the effect that your not interested or you try to avoid the call (when you are supposed to be actively seeking employment) then they forward the information to the un-employment agency?
That is all I can think of State workers using a fake company to seek out false UIA claims. Maybe that is why no one can find anything about this company and no one has every got a just over broke (job) with them anyway!
Hope this opens up all of your eyes... :)- Caller: Torchmark
- Dominic THE HACK MASTERWell received a phone call again this week from Mrs. Holder! This [***] won't stop calling me. I did some research of my own reverse lookups and FOOTPRINTING TOOLS and some DATA MINING until I was satisfied with my results and this is what I learned everyone.
First if you hate them as much as I do then create a filter in your spam inbox to forward all spam to this address HumanResources-AIL@tmkrms.com maybe they will receive so much mail the smtp server will become overloaded!
There is a website they are sending smtp mail to all of us from. It is http://tmkrms.com/ SOME SPAMMERS NEED TO ATTACK THIS SITE WITH JUNK MAIL thru the submit form or better yet everyone should set a filter in their email to forward all their junk mail via BCC (blind carbon copy) to this address HumanResources-AIL@tmkrms.com. I also noticed they are using the MTB Michigan Talent Bank along with other States talent banks to obtain our personal information email and phone numbers, this is to solicit all of us with phone calls and emails to join the crew. LOL We are holding 2 positions open?? What there are 700,000 people out of work and you solicit a IT Professional for a friggin SALES position? What jack [***] to begin with..
Anyway, Watch out everyone if they get you into a interview over the phone or by mailing you a application to fill out, you had better check you credit score frequently... Yep you guessed it, I think they are using this information to gain access to personal data and maybe even ruin your credit, and steal valuable information from you.
After reading all these post, I thought to myself lets start a fresh email address and post a fake resume on the MTB(Michigan Talent Bank) just to see what happens.. AIL - 810-956-0279They called from 810-956-0279 also. The woman would not let me speak or ask any questions. She said your comming in for an interview tomorrow morning and I said I couldnt and she said call back in six months and gun up.
- Jen replies to huh?Wow!!! I have a scheduled interview at 10:30 tomorrow morning. My resume was found on career builder. I went through a random over phone interview, and was scheduled for tomorrow morning to meet with Brad Ellison. Patrick called with return phone # 248-283-5388 ex 104. Definately not going now!
- sgss replies to huh?Hi, I just receive a voice mail from a lady called herself Melissa Rush and told to call back 248-283-5388 ext 108. When I called the voice mail announced that company is called Ameerican Income, and 1 time I called a operator answer and transfer me and again I get voice mail, overall I called three times and still get voice mail. I glad I saw your message. Now i can forget about this voice mail and concentrate on 'looking' for a REAL job! I wish those people leave people who is searching for job alone! I glad I google search on 'American Income 248-283-5388' and I found your message! thanks for posting this.
- CiB1020I have received several calls from 248-283-5388 and now emails from different people with 248-283-5388 as the return number for interviews. Commission based jobs don't interest me since I do not have experience in 'selling' and can't live off commission pay. This is the email I got today from Dianna Ray. How she can say that my phone number did not load properly is beyond me. I resume has two numbers listed and I haven't applied to any Monster jobs in weeks so BEWARE:

- Jonathon JonesI got a call from these people today, too. The number was 248-687-7790. She ran me through a phone interview, but didn't seem to care about the answer. Then asked me to come in for an interview with a resume and references. She also gave the following information:
901 Tower Drive
Suite 100
Troy, MI 48098
And her direct line: 248-406-5570
Something felt funny about it all, so I looked the company up on google, and ended up here. And I am glad I did! I'm not going to that interview now. Shame on these people.- Caller: AIL
- Big DaddyJust wanted to say thanks to all of you. I was about to go tomorrow for an interview but now after doing some research found this website I'm not going. So thanks again.
- ellen replies to MelissaJust wondered if you went for the interview. My husband was laid off over 6 mnths ago so we just lost our insurance. We got 2 emails,1 from a jaime haehl and another from a paul rumbuk.Dont have time to waste going on wild goose chases.Any info would help.
- shellyt replies to Tikithey are still at it. I got a call last night. I'm always leary about people calling me so I googled the company. AIL in Troy and came up with this. Thanks everyone. I won't be calling them back since I found all this.
- jtl replies to mooseAmerican Income Life is not a scam, and no you shouldn't be one minute late. You are applying for a job, do you really believe that being late is a good first impression. If you are not going to be on time why should they waste their time with you. They are a good company with many good opportunities available. The address for the Troy office is 901 Tower drive not, 501.
- sonyaThis company sent me an email also. I was not familiar with them so I decided to google the number and found these messages. I am so upset. People are trying hard to find jobs and to survive in between time. What kind of heartless person would scam people at a time like this. And if this company is legitimate it should be upfront with all of their information before inviting someone to an interview.
