Did you know that the FTC takes a very dim view of employees and paid shills posting glowing reviews of companies without disclosing their affiliation with that company?  It is actually a crime and you just committed one.  It is also against the TOS to advertise for a company and to tell lies.  Post reported.

I just got a call from Sweetwater (I am a customer) and I didn't pick up because the number didn't have a caller ID. That's why I looked it up, not sure why KWL was looking it up but I suspect the same.

No, KWL was what is known as a shill. See, you looked up the number because there was no caller ID (although it's odd a legitimate company wouldn't identify themselves). KWL claimed to know who called & in fact stated they got calls frequently from this number so logically would have no reason to look it up.

Yes, Sweetwater.  I bought one thing from them, they've called me 3 times since. If I'd known, I would have given them a fake number. It's bizarre that they actually think you want them calling you just because you once bought something from them.

Which I why I'm not using them again.  From now on, Musician's Friend gets my business.
