Sweetwater is the only company that I know of that you can spend a couple of dollars with and they treat you like you spent thousands. They follow up with their customers with unheard of (now days) customer service. If they are calling you (unwanted) please contact them and let them know, they will not harass you. Not a scam,  Great company.

This is Sweetwater - the best customer service around. They just called and I missed missed it, and checked the number here as I didn't recognize it. I made a purchase this morning - they are merely calling to see if I have any questions or need help. Superior care.

I made my first order with Sweetwater last night, online. This morning around 10:30 I received a text message from this number stating "I'm at the movie theater." I do not know these people personally, and it disturbs me a little to think that as a customer, my phone number it was entered into someone's private cell phone contacts list. And then mistakenly used as a personal contact. Not very professional. But I have yet to receive the product ordered, so I suppose we will see.

On this is old, but if you don't want them to call you, and find they are still calling despite asking nicely, you can always just log into your account and change your number.

WELL, my son bought stuff from this wonderful company and still does and when SW calls they are very pleasant, and far from annoying. JUST LET A GOOD company do there job and all of you stop griping, cant please everyone

It is actually a sales call from Sweetwater.  If you ever buy anything from them they will call you every few months to try and get you to buy more stuff.

Once you purchase one thing, they will call you all the time.  Very weird. i only bought one item from them years ago which was only bevcause they were the only ones who sold that weird off hand part i needed.  They call me all the time now.

It was Sweetwater on a follow up call to make sure the merchandise we bought arrived on time and that our client was pleased with it, we reported that it did, and they were. We never mind a QC Call, nobody tried to sell us anything. Quick and to the point, no BS.

Two things.  First, there would have been no reason to look up the number if that were truly the case.  Second, your screen name wouldn't have been "bothered at work" because according to you it wasn't a "bother".

Oh, something else to add as well. Looks like there are complaints about this outfit going back 5 or 6 years.  Looks like they have been sending people here just like you to do damage control for the same amount of time.  Now, thanks to you, I think it is time for me to do one of my "reports" on this outfit.  Maybe we should see exactly what this outfit is and how many complaints there are about their harassing phone calls.

One of the reviews/complaints on the BBB site mentioned that the person tried to put up a negative review on their website and the company blocked it.
Maybe one of the reasons there are so many calls is that the wages are a bit on the low side?

Company handbook says that if you are to start at 8 am and clock in at 8 am, you are considered late for work.  Not sure how they come by that, but they want you to clock in early, even though they only start paying you at 8 am.  I think that is illegal to require an employee to start work early and not get paid for it.  https://issuu.com/rpike/docs/employee_handbook_9_13_13

Insurance is pretty poor. Constant up and down sales. If you don't make 90+ calls a day for your first 3-5 years, then you're not going to do well. Senior SEs watch younger SEs like a hawk. Sales management does not listen to the ideas of their employees. They don't tell the staff the true wholesale cost of items, so you're not really getting the percentage of commission you expect. Long hours. Boring meetings 3 time…
Which would explain the constant barrage of phone calls being received by people from this outfit, and why since the only way these people can make money is by selling something (also a reason why the calls after a purchase trying to upsell).

I can't believe they had the audacity to give you a courtesy call.  That must have been horrible for you.

Never ordered anything from them. So I don't know why I'm getting a call from them. Will never order from them. This entire thread is weird. All of the Sweetwater bots leaving positive comments and slamming those who offer a negative opinion of the company. This number is now on my block list.

I've dealt with both Musician's Friend and Sweetwater, and have had no problems with either. They're both A+ in my book.

A lot of fake comments have been posted.  Yes, they have great "service", but they constantly harass you to ask if you need any new products.  A lot of their budget is spent on marketing and making warm calls day in and day out, even if you tell them to stop messaging you.

Sweetwater, calm the f*** down with your follow-ups.  I haven't purchased anything with you because I'd rather buy  products cheaper elsewhere despite your "top-notch service."

Also, stop paying high schoolers to write fake reviews and comments for you.

I didn't know who the caller was as it didn't say Sweetwater. We only bought strings from Sweetwater. Lotta fuss over nothing, from all these previous posts. They are trying to make an honest living. Hats off to them.

Doubt they pay "high schoolers" to write positive notes on random forums, but believe what you want.

Actually this is THE music needs store. They're actually pretty nice if you're looking to purchase all equipment.
