I keep getting calls not only from this number but other random numbers despite being on the do not call list.  If I can find out who is doing it, I'm suing!!  They are always calling to tell me to lower my credit card balances.  And they call my son's cell too.  Grrrr.

    Please stop!!!
I bought one $10 dollar mic stand last year and am now periodically being called by this number.  I DO NOT need any random help from them.  I DO NOT need them to check up on me and make sure I'm ok.  I do my research before ordering and know what I want.  I can think for myself.  I would go to my local music store if I had a question to discuss with a professional.  And judging by the number of people who don't appreciate these calls just on this website, Ryan the sales guy's estimation of 99% appreciation of their follow up calls is pure B.S.!  There's not even 50% approval from this forum.  I will NEVER order again from Sweetwater after receiving so many calls after purchasing a stinking $10 item ONE TIME!  For those of you who like hand holding with your rep... GOOD FOR YOU!!!  Enjoy your time with Sweetwater.  It's a choice...your choice.  But, just cause you like it doesn't make it the case for all.  And I for one, choose to take my $ elsewhere until they can learn some boundaries!

This is Sweetwater following up confirming you did indeed place an order and to see if you have any questions/concerns. A lot of people's complaints on here are calling this spam and telemarketing calls. I disagree. IMO this is just good customer service. While it may seem redundant in certain scenarios, the personal contact seems their effort to reinforce the fact that you can always speak to a real person at the company and they are all more than able to assist you with whatever you need, even if you have obscure questions regarding the gear or software you purchased.

TL;DR - this is a great, professional company simply extending a courtesy call regarding an order you placed with them

Hey again. This is chuck from sweetwater. I felt kind of bad leading you guys on earlier. So I'm just going to come clean. We do make these calls to try and drum up more business. Can you blame us? The economy sucks! Anyway, hope you understand why we do it. And no, we won't stop just because you ask us nicely. That's not even possible because we paid our developers to NOT include that feature into our CRM software.

I guess the only reason I'm telling you all this is because I got a [***] bonus this year even though I was lead sales in my department, and I just found out that I'm being let go in a few months. My wife just had a baby!! What am I going to do now?

Jesus. I really think I would be better off if I just killed myself. Is that a badsign? But enough of that. I need to make a few more sales calls before my shift ends today. I'll worry about less important things like suicide after I clock out.

    Later dudes!

Amazing, a sales person actually cares enough to make sure everything is correct on the order? How dare they. You are a massive douche and would be the kind of guy that I would toss out of my shop.

This was a sales rep from Sweetwater.  I read all of this incessant complaining and all I can see is people that spend their afternoons or evenings trolling on internet boards.  This guy Nathan was absolutely cordial and helpful and the only specific reason he called was to confirm that the product that was ordered was the one I intended on ordering, and since my billing and shipping addresses were different, it was also to make sure that it was not a fraudulent order, which in my mind puts Sweetwater above just about all other companies in how they care about the customer.  I find it hard to believe that people out there complain about stuff like this.  Maybe they should order something, get the wrong item, and not get a call from anybody.  There are plenty of business out there just like that, so feel free to shop with them.

You're an idiot.  Sweetwater is a great company and will stop calling if you ask them to. I've found them to be very professional and courteous, but they are a sales company, and as such, like to check in on customers.  Maybe you should limit your comments on things you actually have knowledge of?

You are a complete douche-bag.  I appreciate Sweetwater's personal touch and excellent customer service.  My rep is Tony Dayton, and the fact that they send an email "thanks" and take a moment to call to confirm an order AND to thank me for my business, regardless of how small the order, is very refreshing in this day of "who gives a crap" sales.  Did you ever think to just say "thanks for the follow-up, but I don't need anything else right now?"

    Get a life.

People really will complain about anything.  I looked up this number because I didn't recognize it, but it's Sweetwater... so it's cool.  Ryan left a message, and wouldn't ya know it, I just happen to be needing a new amp that I'll probably buy from... Sweetwater.  They're not pressuring anything or anyone, they're just trying to keep contact with their customers so that you'll think of them when you're wanting to buy something they may offer.  I got a sweet deal there when I bought my Gibson, gave me a discount on putting on different strings so that it was ready to rock with the sound I wanted when I got it.  Unfortunately, my amp isn't worthy of the sound it produces.  Anyway, that rant up there from 12/16/11 is ridiculous, that person sounds like someone that wasn't held enough as a child.  Poor stupid thing.

Got a call from this number and have read it is from Sweetwater. If they were to put as much labor into keeping prices low as they put into sales calls, they might actually be competitive. Until then, I'll be over at the musicians friend website saving money. Better yet, I'll be on Craigslist never paying retail. I've got gear to buy...

I made one purchase over 5 yrs ago. They never stop calling. When you visit their website they plant a tracking cookie and hit you up a day later asking if you want to buy something. It is getting quite annoying.
