unknown caller and left no voice mail, but called them back after a while on my free evening minutes and a recording was played referring to a business named "Cosmo" with a website, but spelling was not stated (is it Cosmo, Kosmo, Kozmo, Cozmo, etc)

I got the call but picked it up. It was a recorded message from cosmo about a suvey on whether the baby they were having was a boy or girl. "If boy, press 1, if girl press <nothing>." I hung up and did a search and was amazed to find the same number listed here with the name "Cosmo".
Seems likea phishing scam to get valid mobile numbers.

Just got a call from this number asking about wanting to meet at a mall. Didn't respond, but found the number here on this website.

Recorded message with some dude talking about deciding on which color to paint his house. I hung up.

Didn't answer the call. The voicemail was unrecognizable gibberish, followed by "If you are on a mobile phone, press Star now".

The number just called me but I didn't answer. I called back and said something about a cosmo website. But I tried to search the website and I got nothing on it, but it was hard to understand on the phone.

Really random message left on my phone saying to pick out which car I liked better. Called it back and it was a recording saying to check out www.heycosmo.com Some messaging site is what it looked like. No idea.

It's Walmart...got the same number and the baby boy/girl message, but unlike you guys, my voicemail was preceded by a [***] Walmart commercial.

No message.  A callback was a computer saying something about consumers.

I got a call today 8/26/2008 stating to pick 1 for cheap hotels or 2 to go all out.  It said something about a millionaire from McDonalds and that the call was sponsered by McDonalds.

Call came in didn't answer.  No voicemail.  Did a search and came up with this site.  Wierd!!!

got call on my cell phone.  did not answer.  vmail was some goofed up message sponsered by Mcdonalds.

I got a call on my cell phone about 10 minutes ago. The number displayed and then showed Delaware next to it. I didn't answer, plus my phone is new and I have not setup my voicemail yet. They didn't leave a message. So strange how people are getting totally different messages from the same phone number.

I want to know how they got my cell number. I have had this number for years and I have never had anyone I don't know call my phone.

My number is on the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) national Do Not Call registry.

Today, I received a call from this number - 302-336-7401.  I did not answer and but an unintelligible message was left on my voice mail.  EVERY TIME I receive a call of this kind I report it to the FTC using their online complaint format.  I provide the date and time of the call.

If more people would complain, the FTC will take action against these annoying callers.  The FTC does not act on one report; it takes numerous reports before they will take action.

Did not answer, and no voicemail was left... a few minutes later another call came in showing up as "2111" I had just applied through barnone two days ago and this seems to be when all the craziness began!

Was a recorded message - started with a McDonalds commercial, then went on saying that "Lee's" wife is having a baby, press 1 if you think it's a boy & 2 if you think it's a girl...

Odd stuff!
