No caller ID, didn't pick up, no voicemail.  Must be a weird phishing call. Who else can I report this to? Help! I don't want to get inundated.

People you really need to read past comments! First off visit heycosmo.com! You'll get an idea of what the site is about. People who have your cell number can send you messages from  their computer to your phone. The messages is a robot/machine reading the message back to you. Now heycosmo.com also probably has an autodialer shooting out random messages to you. They might be doing this to get you to visit the site. Or they might be doing this to get you # to verify it's an active number. When you answer or call back your phone's an active number and they can sell a list of numbers to telemarketers. Many people have gotten these random calls from this number and have no idea why they'd be getting asked these stupid questions..because it's telemarketing [***]! It could be a friend doing this but in the majority of these instances, it's telemarketing at work!

Recorded message scam to get you to access their website.

Got a call from this number 9-29-08 at 4:47 pm; answered and there was a recorded voice saying something like: "You have a message from cosmo blast; push one to hear message." I didn't push one, as it sounded like a scam.

11:36 a.m. today my company owned Blackberry rings. It has never rung in the 3 1/2 years of using it, because I don't have phone service on it! When I answered it a recorded voice said " I had a message waiting from Cosmo Blast". Then then told me to push the #1 key. I hung up. I called the tech dept of my employer to question how I got a phone call on a Blackberry with no phone service. They said the device does have phone service (w/ a non published number) for my protection to make a 911 call and GPS for finding the device in an emergency. So the caller must be using a random or programed dialer. My employer tech dept is also following up on the call.

Ron said it perfectly - recorded message scam to get you to access their website! An autodialer is calling random numbers with different messages. One day the message may be - you have a cosmo message press 1 to hear, the next day it's do you think the baby will be a boy or a girl, then it's......you get the point. It's screwed up but this is what it is.

This is ridiculous. I just got a stupid survey call from this number asking me to press 1 for this, 2 for that. Hit 2 to see what happens and got a message that said to visit heycosmo.com for more information. I hope this doesn't start an avalanche of other telemarketers calling me now because I answered one call. Checked out the heycosmo.com site and it seems very sketchy. This site is tied in to facebook, wonder if facebook has anything to do with this??? If this was legit wouldn't it be coming from an 800 number?

Just got a call from 302-336-7401 on my cellphone.  Did not answer not did they leave a vm. I called the number back from another phone and received a message about Kosmo(sp??), retrieving a msg that was left or to visit hitkosmo.com(???)..jsut some gooblygop.  Please stop these [***] from calling us.

I got a call from this number this morning with a voice recording saying that <some name I couldn't catch> wanted to send me a "hate cosmo message" and to press 1 to hear it.  Needless to say, I had no desire to hear a "hate cosmo message" and hung up.

I think it's phishing.  Just got call...no message. Delaware area code?

Needless to say since I've received this heycosmo.com survey call, I've since received calls from different numbers about a car warranty being expired. Interesting since my car warranty doesn't expire for another year plus! I was on another site and someone else had this same situation - you answer one of these ridiculous calls then get these car warranty scam calls. Beware..

Called their number after originally receiving their call and they were currently updating their database. Called today for the hell of it and guess what their beta and retrival function is still down...becuase their still updating their database. Amazing at 3 weeks later they're still updating their database!?!?. This is such a freakin scam!Screw these people!

Just got the same call but it was saying something about retrieving messages and it was a Beta therefore not available at this time... has anyone gotten more than one call?

Hey Angie, have you gotten more than one call from this number on your cell phone? Heycosmo is a website people can shoot messages to your cell phone. If you've received only one call it's them fishing for your number. If you've received many calls, it could be someone pranking you via the site. Report it anyway to your cell phone carrier and file a cmoplinat with DNC.

received a call from 302-336-7401 (i'm on AT&T washington state).  I did not pick up (the above number called @1.14pm, Saturday, October 11, 2008).  Left a 0:02 second blank message (basically no message left).  

I did not call back but I'm assuming it's some random computer telemarketing.  Death to telemarketing companies!

PS - My number is already listed in the govt. DNC registry.

Got a call from this number saying something about stoping hate phone calls and to call back --- their computers we not up and running now but to try again. Thank goodness is was not some number in Carribian

got a call from 1-302-336-7401.  it went into my call log.  I went online to see who might have called me.
