This Company boast over 666 million in yearly profits. They have plenty for small court claims payouts and class action lawsuits.

Received a call 1/19/08 @11:42 pst (Seattle, WA). When I answered it disconnected. I also have listed with DONOTCALL registry.

"The Federal Do-Not-Call legislation does not appy to organizations that are not soliciting (selling or marketing something). PDC is not soliciting."

Have some education for free, PDC: "solicit : ask for or try to obtain (something) from someone." From the Oxford American Dictionary. You are trying to obtain information from the people you call; thus you are SOLICITING for information.

This is the line I use with every organization that claims that, because they don't have anything to sell, their solicitation for donations or for information is not "soliciting". These meanings are closer to the real meaning of "solicit" than "selling" or "marketing".

I don't care what kind of insane Rationalization PDC uses to make them think they do not have to pay us for our Time and Phone charges if "THEY" call us. We are not calling them and we do not have to ask "THEM" to stop calling us. If they call us, "THEY" are libel for phone charges to cell phones, our Time, Lawyer Fees and Court Cost. Furthermore, if they send us Phone Books and Catalogs that We did not ask for and we injure our backs picking up those books off the Sidewalks, they are also liable for millions in pain and suffering. In this country the Majority Rules. We make up the Laws not Big Business. If PDC cannot see that the Majority of people are pissed off enough to take them to court, then that is their problem.  Because I will be acting as my own Lawyer, I will be charging them $300 per hour for my time and my research in Law.

Received this call just now, dinner time in Arizona.  Looks like this is their first attempt.  I did not answer, as I usually let unknown callers go to the machine.  I think After reading all of the complaints here, I'll be avoiding this call if/when they call back.

303-280-8689 called 5:54PM MST when I was home. They hung up when I picked up.
I believe that their behavior forfeits the privilege of being answered honestly.  If they ever call when I'm home, and if they answer their robodialer when I pick up, I'll tell them I didn't receive my phone books.

These jokers back in Aug 2007 stated that they will no longer be calling anyone on the Do Not Call list and that they are not selling anything.  These statements are completely FALSE !  See message below which was posted for Pro Call Solutions at phone # (610) 238-6600, a Division of PDC which according to their web site does telemarketing from which I got a call today (1/24/08) and for which I am on the Do Not Call List.  If these jokers call you, report them.

These jokers called today wanting to know if my Verizon telephone book arrived even though I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  This company is called Pro Call Solutions and is a division of PDC (Product Development Corp), who has been making these same calls with a different number [(303) 280-8689] and when you Google the PDC number, they have left on this message board that they are a legitimate company and are allowed to call numbers on the Do Not Call list for purposes of following up on a supposedly delivered phone book.  This is simply hog wash for 2 reasons.  First, they are a telemarketing company (see their own web site) and really are trying to sell you some services with the phone book issue as the opening line of BS. Second,  They can only call people on the Do Not Call list that they have a business relationship with and given that I do not have Verizon's phone service and that it is not even available where I live,   legally they cannot call.  If you get a call from either the 610 or 303 area code numbers and you are on the Do Not Call list, file an on-line Complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.  If they get enough Complaints, they can get hit with some big time fines which will stop this crap.

I know you're not solicting or marketing.  I will not give you my phone number to be removed because I shouldn't have to.  By you calling my house and not answering this is considered a form of harrassment.  I have contacted my telephone company and they tell me if you do this more than 3 times it is considered harrassment and will take legal action on my behalf.  Everytime your company calls it will be traced. Do you know how annoying it is to answer your phone and not have anyone there and just hang up.  I shouldn't have to e-mail you "not to call" my house and hang up when I answer.

So we got the first call recorded, I can hardly wait for two more times.
I think I will do some research on your company and see how you like it.
I will also be reporting this to the BBB in your state and mine as well.  
We'll see how many more phone calls you make.

got a call from this number today. hung up when i answered. i too am on the DO NOT CALL list. yes i received their phone book. i picked it up off my porch and immediately took it to the curb for garbage pickup in the morning. i dont keep phone books as they are a waste of space. i havent used a phone book in years. i can find any number i need faster online.

Received call ar 6:23 pm on 2/6/08, did not answer, and no message.  What a surprise!  I am also on the do not call list and not a verizon customer.

Call was listed as Product Dev and called at 5:30 in the evening. Hung up after I answered. Some people have mentioned they are connected to Verizon. I am a previous Verizon customer but haven't been one for about six months.

I was happy to answer their call 4 days after I got my phone book- it was really them, and they have called before, and their calls coincide with my receiving a phone book. No harm, no foul.

Why would Product Development Corporation call then immediately hang up? Any company that does this is not an honest upfront company. I suspect there's something more devious than they would have us believe and I wish some government agency would investigate them.

I've been receiving calls from them for months. I refuse to pick up their phone call.
