Been getting these calls for several weeks.  Usually when not home but I do not answer most of the time.  I have answered unwanted calls and when they start I ask them to hold on there is someone at the door and I just put the phone down and leave it sit until they cannot hold any longer an they hang up.  If you are bored you can always turn the tables on them and start asking them questions, where are you located, did you have a nice weekend, are you married and have children....once you get them away from control they lose their places in what they are supposed to be saying and when frustrated they hang up.  Another thing I have done is answer and then hang up right away, they usually stop calling after that.

Received a phone call from this number on my husbands cell phone saying they were from Arizona Republic.  This happened at noon while we were eating, after just returning home from an appointment.  My husband answered and then handed the phone to me telling him I took care of it. Since we winter in AZ and are now at home in the north, it was very strange.  Especially telling me that I had ordered 13 weeks and had some left and wondered when they should start deliver again.  Strange since we were paying monthly.  I told him not until Nov.  We live in a gated community and will be contacting them to let them know of this contact of trying to find out.  They never asked for anything other than that.  But now they know the house is empty.

You DO NOT have to register once a year. ONLY if you change numbers , then you would want to put that number on. Once the number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST, it stays.

If you answer they know you are there and they keep calling. I have answered and they won't stop just because you say you are not interested. Someone else calls. They don't care.

These people call me every day, several times a day and never leave a message. I have been on the DNC Registry for 8 months, which leads me to believe that the DNC registry really doesn't do what it is supposed to. And they are not out of Texas, they are out of St. Louis, area code 314.

OK for those of you that think the government is looking out for you, think again.  There are sooooo many loopholes in the DNC (as with every other bill that is put out by the losers in DC) that it is guaranteed not to work.  As he said if a company has any relationship whatsoever with a company you have done business with (even requesting information) then they can legally harass you.  The government will only take a company to court if they have a case that has been proven.  Who provides the evidence; why you the public, people that have been harrassed until they are about to come unglued.  Only then will the government take the company to court and of course when they win who gets the money?  Is it the people that have been harassed?  No it is our greedy, I mean needy government.
I registered several years ago and my telephone did not changeduring that time but as I added to the list it seemed I got more calls.   I have since changed my number and do not answer the phone unless I know who it is.  I only get a couple of calles a day now.  Remember if you answer they know they have a live person.

The National Do Not Call List- Is only a list of people that wish telemarketers not to call them. It is not a list that will stop all unwanted callers. The only way to stop companies that ignore the list is to report them.
I have told a lot of companies that I am on the national do not call list and if they ever call again I will report them. It is a $16,000 fine.

The only groups that can ignore the list are Charities and political campaigns.

One other thing can be done about any and all calls, If you have repeatedly recieved calls after telling the group you do not wish to be contacted anymore. Telemarketers, charities and political campaigns. Just inform them that you feel you are being harrassed and are being forced to seek legal council.
If it is a foreign company, good luck! I found the harder you mess with them the less chance of them calling you back again. The longer you keep them on the phone wasting their time the funnier they get. ;O) I even got an Indonesian Supervisor cussing at me trying to sell me Dish Network.

I was hanging with my girlfriend at her place today and the number called about 21 times back to back and I tried and call the other number and they said it would be removed in 24 hours but it has been going on for about 3 weeks with that number still calling her and I don't think they take your number off the list because all they do is put your number on another list and it keeps going on there and it never gets removed at all! Who argees with me that they do not take you off the list one bit!

After enduring many calls from 314-963-8895 I found the most effective way to deal with this problem is to report them to the FCC. I was told by one of the FCC officers there that the government is preparing a huge case against this company, I tell you, it is not going to be pretty, the fine is going to be enormous. Please everybody click on this link and fill the online complaint form 1088. http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
