This phone number belongs to the Pisa Group of St. Charles MO.  

I called them on the direct line (314) 845-2825 and talked to a manager.  He wanted my phone number "in order to remove me from their list" did not want to give my number (for privacy reason and to avoid confirming my phone number) but told him I was on the national do-not-call list and he would find me there.

He then told me that they were exempted from the do-not call list since they were not selling anything, only offering something for free.  This would be a coupon booklet containing "free" or discounted subscription to a local newspaper.

They thus believe they have found a loophole around the national do-not-call registry.

Maybee if we all start calling the company directly and repeatedly and bombard the Pisa group with complains, they will get the message?

They just called us at work. I answered and then a few seconds later, I hear alot of noise in the background and one lady in the distance said "and how would you like to take care of that today?". Another lady finally answers the phone 5 seconds after I pick up and says, "Hello???" so I put her on hold :) Nobody likes to be put on hold.

I`m having the same problem ! I live in Kansas City,Missouri and I get calls from these people day & night ! I`m also on the DO Not Call List and it doesn`t stop these people !

I keep getting calls from 1-314-963-8895 from Texas ,I live in Missouri and the company listed on my caller ID is Paper ? They call day and Night !

I am on the Do Not Call Registry and it DOESN'T work. I still get all kinds of hang up calls and such. Within an hour today I got that call "Paper" from 314-963-8895 and also from a place that said out of area at 816-407-9332. Something really needs to be done with these crank calls. The Do Not Call registry just does nothing about it. I've complained many times.

Calls from this # 314-9638895, are several times a day all hours!!! If you try to answer they hang up This number should be re=voked and not be allowed to call out!!!!

My internet provider allows me to block all their #'s out. I knew it was a telemarketer when I saw the # on my Caller ID. I am currently unemployed and don't need a paper subscription. It is hard times for many, including newspaper companies, but there going about it the wrong way...

Do not call back the number that called you, call 314-845-2825.  I got an operator right away and he politely took my number and "area of the country" and said I would be off the list in 72 hours.  Let's see if that works.

This same number has been calling our number for days.  I answered today and the male said they were selling subscriptions to the local newspaper.  When I told him we already have a subscription, he sort of apologized and ended the call.  The caller ID is NEWS.

Answered this call but did not speak. A man's voice said, "Hello, this is ______ (already forgot the name) from the Pasadena (CA) Star News. How are you?" When I didn't respond (and it was totally quiet), he said, "Hello" two or three more times and finally hung up. I would think that newspapers would be subject to the Do-Not-Call regulation, but maybe I'm wrong. It's possible that because they're in my state, they are exempt. At any rate, I've found that the best way to handle these calls is to answer them, but remain silent. Leave the phone on the desk or wherever (I only answer the remote phone . . . because it's portable . . . and it works for me. Another way that I've read others suggest is to pick up the phone and say, "Please hold." That would work, too, but they'd know that they have a "good" phone number and would persist in calling back.

I have been getting calls from this #, but have them blocked. It all started when my Dad passed away in September and I canceled his subscription with a Dallas newspaper and  they drove me crazy for months calling. When they finally stopped, the calls from this number started. I never answered any call from them and they still continue to call.

They have been calling my phone for the past month now...I never answer. I only answer numbers I know and if I don't know the number they would leave a voicemail If it was important. They call multiple times a day....not always an everyday theing but often enough. And they call at odd hours. Stupid people

You are calling a cell phone that will not be answered.  Stop it!

I have been getting this same call for a few months on a daily basis. Even though I'm registered with the No Call Registration Lline I logged (which I got from one of the others who posted on this site) on this morning and registered my number and also there is a section to file a complaint I figured it was worth a try.

I am getting calls from this # about 1 every 2 hours.
