I received a call from the this number just now. I answered and a telemarketer stated that he is calling about my Windows operating system.  I told him I do not own a PC and hung up, I gave him a chance to speak before I hung up and it just hung in the air as if he didn't know how to respond.

Frequent calls from a number I don't recognize

called our landline and said he was with Microsoft, my sister asked him not to call back, he then said he would call back over and over.  Then he told her he would f**k her and make her cry.  The phone was on speaker so when I heard it I got the phone and told him that we had his number and if he called back we would sue for harassment.  After this he hung up.

The callers from this number are running a tech support scam.  They claim to be affiliated with Microsoft (Microsoft does not make unsolicited phone calls) trying to help you remove malware from your computer.  Often they will have some information about you or your computer that they have gathered online to "verify" that they are legitimate.  They will then try to get you to run ammyy admin to take control of your computer.  If this happens to you please report to Microsoft.  Google ammyy scam for more info.
