- james replies to Raythere still at it, got a call and told them they couldn't play with my computer and hung up received a call right back and told them to not call again.
- GusLast call from crooks on Aug 7. Call hang up at 450 pm PDT on August 18. Please use common sense -- do not interact with these scammers. They sell your number then as a working one and make money that way. Then they can call even more people, including you, nonstop. You think you are entertaining yourself and getting even with them, you are not. It makes the robo calls continue even more. Remind the elderly and impaired not to pick up the phone, listen to the answering machine, they will hang up 99 percent of the time. If they do not have an answering machine, get them one. Keep them safe; they are being ripped off of millions nonstop every month. Common sense has to prevail. Crooks do not abide by laws do they?
- Gaye D10:29 AM - didn't pick up, no message left.
Caller ID = New York Call (all caps) - Diana GodfreyCalled, but never answered when I said hello.
- Do NOT AnswerCaller posing as a Windows Technician claiming they are receiving errors from my computer for the past few days and that there is malware on my machine.
He asked me to go to my computer and open up the Event Viewer (Win+R eventvwr.exe) he asked me if I saw any errors, when I told him I did, he went on a rant about how hackers had access to all my information, obviously a scare tactic to get me to cooperate.
He then asked me to open Internet Explorer and go to teamviewer dot com at which point I said I am not going to do that I know what team viewer is and I am not giving you access to my computer.
He asked but how am I going to fix your problem?
I said I believe this is a scam and I want you to remove my number from your list... but he hung up before I could finish.
***Please do not entertain these scammers unless you really know what you are doing and by no means launch any program when asked.*** - CamanthaI have been having some fun phone calls with these people for almost a year now. They have called with claims of being from windows technical support, Microsoft technical support, and Comcast technical support. I knew from the first phone call that it was a scam, none of these companies will ever call you unless you have contacted them with an issue which I never have. In all actuality most companies don't call you for any reason you have to call them and good luck getting through. I have had laugh after laugh wasting these peoples time. I have spent up to an hour messing around with them it has been quite hilarious! All of them want me to go straight to my computer and open whatever so they can show me all of the "security risks", "error messages" and "viruses" on my computer (big laugh there). They actually open a program that looks intimidating but is just showing you processes that normally run on your computer. Please don't listen to these people ever! They will have you purchase or download something and that is what gives you the security risks. It is a scam, not one company will call you to tell you that there is something wrong with your computer! Its a lie.
I have screamed, cussed, and discussed with these people until they are blue in the face. I have been told I should hook up with people because I sound sexy, been called; an idiot, crap, liar, stupid, etc. They have called me every name in the book, but at least once a week I get another phone call thinking I might just give in. But I see it as just another excuse to have fun messing with them. If you have given them anything or let them connect to your computer at all REPORT THEM! I have filed complaints with my local police department they can't do anything but share the information around because I haven't done any of the things these scammers are asking.- Caller: Windows, Microsoft, or Comcast Technical Support
- MrGiggleNutz replies to Larry| 1 replyI agree, I'm about to punch this number into my CPR call blocker. I typically let these calls from unknown numbers go to my voice mail then I look up the number on this website and punch it into the call blocker if it's a known spammer. This call blocker is a life saver since my phone company and my cordless phones were running out of slots to store numbers.

- MGot a call today and pretended to be a child. They said they had "concern for the computer in the house." Asked if I could take a message for my mom and they said "Yeah, you can take a message but first, do you have teets? Titties?" I asked what that meant and he asked/yelled again "DO YOU HAVE TITTIES???"
I hung up and blocked the number on my cell.- Call type: Telemarketer

- VoxulusPrimeIndian (Dot, not Feather) scammers claiming to be from "Windows Support" call and try to scare you to giving them access to your PC over the internet, whereupon they "repair" your machine by stealing personal data, installing spy and malware, and charging you for removing "viruses". No one from Microsoft is going to call you to fix anything on your PC unless you call them first and pay for support.
- Caller: [***] Computer Scammers
- SueCaller ID'd as UNKNOWN CALLER. Normally I don't answer these but I was feeling frisky. <G>
Usual boiler room delay followed by a heavily accented Indian male... "Hello, my name is Paul and I'm calling from Windows...." at which point I unloaded my best potty mouth on him. Another number for the blocked list. - JparThese guys are so absurd. Only trying to get into your computer to steal whatever they can. I asked some simple questions about what he wanted me to do, was obviously extremely skeptical about the whole thing, and when I told him he was full of [***], he said I had the wrong idea. I responded by assuring him I'm not dumb enough to believe anything he said and he responded with, "well then how about this sir, just go [***] yourself" and then he hung up.
I'm no astro-physicist, but I'm pretty confident a reputable company wouldn't say those kinds of things. LOL- Caller: Associated Technical Services

- Melanie MorimotoCaller claimed they were techs that received calls generated from my windows program on my computer. I replied that I have a Mac. He hung up immediately.
