HAve gotten several of these "Microsoft" calls.  Was able to stop them for a bit, but got one from this number today.  I just said that I know it's a scam, I know that it is fraud, and to not ever call me again and then I hung up.  I know it won't do anything, but I feel better!

Got two calls from this number so far today.  Didn't answer either one and no messages left.  Googled the number, which I do after each strange number, and it brought me here.  This is a scam.

I am getting tired of these calls as well.  I have blocked over 20 from these jerks and I have never answered my phone when they call I get this feeling these are all the same guys who have been calling from all the numbers on 800notes.com.

I just don't understand why they keep calling back if they know they are not going to get anything from us at all.......  So they just like hurashing ( sorry about the spelling ) people who will not give them any of their time? Or Money? Or information?  Just goes to show how dumb they are!   Now I know why they try to get stuff this way they can't hold a job because they are way to dence LOL LOL.

Total scam... if you have time mess with them... it's kind of amusing.
I had one guy on the phone who thought he had a live one and was going to fix all my computers Windows or Apple. He was so giddy it was sad.
After about 15 minutes I told him he was a liar and a scammer. Then he went into his sex talk... told him I wasn't paying for that either and that he just wasted his time for nothing... he wasn't getting paid for any of it.

Again - only do if you have some free time to mess with these sob's

Caller identifies himself as a tech from Microsoft and says that "they've received messages that my computer has been infected with all sorts of viruses".  I put on my Bulgarian accent and run the jerk ragged for about 25 minutes and finally, as he thinks he is "selling" me a LIFETIME WARRANTY PROTECTION FOR EVERY COMPUTER I OWN!!! for a mere $399, when he asks me what I see when I type in the www.support.me that he instructs me to do (which, of course, I don't), I tell him a big box  comes up that says:  THIS IS A SCAM.  It throws him for a minute and he starts to tell me what big problems I have on my computer, then someone behind him tells him to give up.  I say, "Bazeball haz been beddy, beddy good to me!"

I've been getting calls on my cell from this number for several weeks, no voicemail. Today I picked up just to be sure it wasn't somebody I know and found myself connected to a heavily accented man claiming to be Alex calling about recent problems with Windows on my computer. I could tell by the background noise that he was calling from a call center that sounded like it was located a very long distance from Seattle. I told him I knew he was scamming and not to call me back again. He insisted he was not a scammer, I hung up and blocked this number.

Two weeks ago my neighbor continued talking for some time to a similar caller who got directly connected to her computer and had installed malware before she finally became suspicious, hung up and unplugged her computer until she could get it cleaned up.

Call hang up at 1003 am.  It is a spoofed NY number, not Nevada or Seattle.  Yes, we hate these horrible crooks.  However, please consider using common sense:  You answer and talk to them or scream back at them, then you set yourself up for more and calls.  Plus, since you are a "live" number -- they sell your phone number to other crooks and make even more money.  Sometimes someone checks the phone number out in depth -- well, surprise!  The phone numbers are usually stolen from someone's legal phone number.  Report to FCC every call, every time -- it is the only way they can close in on these crooks.  And no, the DNC list is not a failure -- legitimate businesses abide by it, crooks do not.  Why would they follow a law?  Remember:  common sense.  And please, let the elderly and impaired know not to answer the phone.  If it hangs up, problem solved.  If they leave a message and say call back and you do not know who they are, do not pick up and delete the message.  YOU interact then YOU become part of the problem -- YOU give them more money.  Privacy is gone, remember, even though the guys in DC think it is still there.  Please stop playing games with them; they make more money to make more calls.

The Federal Government only receives about three $3 Trillion dollars a year from U.S. tax payers and they borrow hundreds of billions a year more to make ends meet.

This money pays for federal employee bonuses, new cars for federal executives and other critical spending needs, and many, many vacation trips for Obama each year.

Federal employees also use government computers to watch porn during their government work day, and have for years, according to annual federal government audit reports for the last several.

They have neither the time, the budget nor the desire to  do anything about some con man calling your phone.

they've called me about 100 times and say that he is a windows tech. I keep yelling at them to take my name off the list and actually they just called me now and i said "May i speak to your manager?" I did and asked if they removed my name off their list and the manager (supposedly) said that it cant happen. I finally called my dad after that and he said to give them his number. I hope that does the trick. Also, I've blocked every number that they call me on and somehow they still are able to call me. How do they get our numbers in the frst place when we don't put our numbers on anything for those windows users?

They don't need YOUR number... We used call sheets in the 1960's, each went from 0000 to 9999 and at the top we wrote in the area code and prefix we were working. I'd go through several each shift selling magazines. It's probably programmed into their auto dialer now and they pick up when they get a live answer.

A guy named "Paul" with a very oriental-type accent called saying the same as above...that Microsoft is getting "signals" from my computer over "the past several weeks" that indicate a serious problem. I told them there was no problem with my computer (because there is no problem) and I asked them not to call me back, but they did call back several hours latter. I did not pick up the call on the second effort. It is definitely a scam - beware.!
