Was getting phone calls from these people. I ended up blocking from them so no more phone calls. But they are a  Debt collector. But they will use anything to talk to who they want they even said they where calling my son in regards to a job they have for him. Which is wrong considering jobs are really hard to find these days.

Received a call from this number.  Apparently I still owe yet another amount from a hospital bill.  Seems I keep paying and paying.  In any case I found the representative I was dealing with this morning (Faith) very helpful and pleasant to deal with.  They had all the correct information so I am thinking they are on the up-and-up.   Frustrating to get the call and I have paid and my insurance has paid the hospital bills.  I blame the hospital not this agency.

I keep getting calls from this number asking for my dad, who is no longer living with my family because my parents are separated. I haven't a clue about where he is. I called the number back to inform them of this, and the automated message said that there was no mailbox set up. So...a "legit" agency has no mailbox? Why, that is certainly absurd. Every business has a mailbox. I'm thinking that this is not a legit business.

I get a messages that I owed something, I finally called back and told them to send me proof of what I owe and I will certainly pay anything I owe. It was from something that took place in 2005 and they are just now contacting me. 2005 they must be busy or are having a slow day. It was for a lab test. I told them to send the bills and I will pay the person I owe money too and not your company. They told me that I could not do that this company had turned over the collection to them and they are the only ones that can recieve the check. I told them "WANNA BET" .

Hospitals are turning any debts over to these people and if they can get money they get to keep it. I have no problems paying my bill, but how the hell do I know what lab test I had in 2005 - 6 years ago.

I keep getting the phone calls from Nikki.  And of course, when I try to call her back, I can't get through.  I'll pay the bill if it's mine, but good grief, send me some proof.  This is ridiculously stupid.  I don't answer phone calls if I don't know the number....I don't give my number out, so there's no reason for me to.

    Fellow IMC-hater
I also can verify that these people are rude, unethical, and even worse, incompetent.  They continue to try to collect a debt for which I have paid and have the canceled check as proof.  Am I glad to see I am not the only one reporting them to the attorney general for breaking several laws in regards to their business.

IMC Credit Services has been calling my sister for a long time now, at hiome and at work. She has end stage breast cancer and hasn't a dime to her name due to all of the horrible medical treatments she has had to endure and the costs of it all with insurance only convering so much.

I called IMC today and informed them of the Fair Debt Collection Act. I first spoke to the person named Nathan who has been making the rude, harrassing calls to my sister's work number, even on days she isn't there and told him the calls were to stop. I informed him that we were going to follow through with her rights according to the Fair Debt Collection Act for Indiana and he proceeded to call my sister a liar and did prove to me that he indeed was rude, uncaring and insolent. I demanded to speak to his supervisor after he said numerous times he was going to end the call and hang up on me because I was not the person they were attempting to collect from. He finally connected me to a young man (supervisor) by the name of Dillon Murphy, who was at least kind enough to listen to my concerns and complaints against his employees (especially Nathn) and their Neanderthal methods of collection. I informed Dillon that if they call my sister at home or at work again that the fines and penalties they would incur would most certainly outweigh any money they could possibly get from collecting this debt from my sister.

I also informed him that there are going to be times that they harrass someone who knows the laws governing debt collection and the Fair Debt Collection Act and that this was one of those times. They sometimes mess with the wrong people who could in the long run cost THEM money in fines.

IMC Credit Services..  Nothing but a$$holes!  They take pride in causing misery. If they get you as a debtor... Get A ATTORNEY... That's the only way to stop their antics ... Or call the Attorney Generals office and file a complaint.. But do that ONLY if your making payments to these clowns and can prove consistent payments and prove they are still calling you. Collect names of agents and date and time they have called. GOOD LUCK!

Called for the 20 millionth time, would not ID self, I taught him--some poor old guy who can't get a decent job--one identifies himself FIRST when calling the other...he kept arguing with me it was the other way around...then, he told me...TOLD me to "STOP playing games" and if I was so-&-so, then...then I hung up.

    "Poor decrepit soul."

If there is a remote chance a debt collector can hold you liable, the easiest way to attract a lawsuit is to send cease-comm letters like the examples on this one Michigan lawyer's site. Beyond their clumsy writing, poor spelling, and needless peevish threats, these Lyngklip notices command collectors not to call or write. This will essentially paint them in a corner, in a bad way. To continue collection under a demand to make *no form* of contact, the only remaining option is to name you as a defendant!

Only a "not me" case or someone connected to a legally uncollectable account should consider a full cease-comm. Everyone else should draft a dispute and validation demand. It need not be fancy or fist-waving. The basic outline for most people is, "I dispute, please validate, calls are inconvenient." An election of private arbitration, taking away court jurisdiction, can also be useful if your lender contract permits it.

For sending letters and other pre-litigation actions you don't need a spamming law firm to hold your hand as you invoke "under the either the" FDCPA. You can read and download the laws for yourself and study what the FTC and many consumer watchdogs have to say.

By federal law, those rights you claim to know, the collections rep can't give you more than a personal and business name on demand until the alleged debtor is known to be speaking. The more you resisted, the more you were thought to be yet another evasive debtor. This micro drama plays out every working hour between agency reps and call targets.

Being snotty with you is not warranted and can turn illegal fairly easily. Your response should be on Cert Mailed paper and will differ according to your status as either the alleged debtor or a third party to one.
