I am a teacher and these people call me all day long throughout the school day. I keep my phone on vibrate but can't have the distractions of this stupid number with an uneducated slob calling me about a service I NEVER HAD! These CBE people disgust me and I wonder how all these people sleep at night knowing they are not contributing at all to this society. They call atleast 5 times a day.

Dear friend!....Have you ever stop to think that perhaps these people may not owe these people the money their many mistakes say they own??? I for one have tryed to reason with these Iraq owning business people based mainly out of NYC and Miami. I broke my cable contract with them because they always tryed to sham me and would NOT stick to their side of the contract on repairing my direcTv as stated in the contract....So hey give these hard working people on here a little slack because perhaps it's not their fault!!! I for one plan on writting my credit company and putting in my two cents worth on why I broke my contract!

Yes...They need to be reported to the FCC as well as the BBB.They are only allowed by law so many ways to collect.

CBE does not have to follow the "Do Not Call" list because they have established business with the person. If you do not want them calling your cell phone, simply answer the phone and state that they are calling your cell phone.

Answer your phone and state they are calling your cell phone. DUH!

CBE is on a dialer system, and the operators actually have no control over who they call or how much, it is up to the system, so it doesn't matter how many times you call and say you don't have the money, that's not going to slow the calls.

Hey Ticked Off, did you ever think that they may have to verify your information to ensure they are speaking to the correct person so they don't disclose to just anybody that you have a debt in collections, wouldn't that be kind of embarassing if one of your family members answered and asked what it was about and they told them that you were in collections? Think about it.

After Directv installed 3 more boxes at my residence,
we called them asking about errors on our bill,
they asked us to describe the 2 workers who installed
the boxes, We said one was a tall white man, the other
a black man, right away they cut us off and said
"We don't have any Blacks working for us"!

We argued that they must have, since the worker was at our house.
They argued back, we never got the error on the bill resolved,
they kept insisting we pay it. Such bad service!
We Complained, They just kept ignoring our complaints!

If im not mistaken "reality check" sounds a lot like the angry guy that calls himself josh or rob at the cbe group that I had to talk with to try and get the calls to stop.(And "he" is on this site for what now?) we all just want to vent about the group and get info about how others handle the calls, thats all. But he seem to want to smash everyone with his "employee knoledge" with the cbe group. thanks "reality check" for all your help! keep letting us know what you think about everyone!!! lol!!! no harm ment!! cbe group is doing their job i guess, but its the way they "do it" is what the problem is.Seems like I only had my phone# for a month and they have been calling seems like as soon as i pluged the phone into the jack. LOL! I came to this site because I got a call from the number and wanted to know who they were. I dont have nor have I ever had Direct TV. And I told them that and they still keep calling me. The people that lived in my apartment before me had the service.When comcast came to install my cable I asked about the other jack on the wall and they said it was from Direct TV's line not Comcast line.I know that it wasn't Dish Network because they can not install in my complex. So to make sure, I called the office and they said the same thing. I call Direct to see what was going on but they would not tell me anything because My name was not in their system. BECAUSE I NEVER HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM so why wont cbe stop calling my number? WELL LETS ASK "reality check" He should know,I think he works there. LOL!!!

My younger sister has been getting calls from this number on her cell phone.
MY family has never had anything to do with direct tv... so why are they calling?

So if they are professionals just doing there job why don't they leave a actual message stating the name of the person they are attempting to contact. And if they aren't receiving any feed back from the number that they are calling, try to contact them through the Mail? I'm sorry but my family has never had DirectTV and honestly after hearing about this crap never will, and I don't see why they have my younger sisters cell phone number. She's a minor, doesn't have debts with anyone let alone with this company or DirectTV. Obviously the way they handle gathering information in the first place isn't working, so they need to do something else. And stop calling cell phone numbers, if they want to pay the cell phone bills fine, they can keep calling, otherwise no they shouldn't call cell phones.

About two months after I got my Cell phone, I started getting calls from DirecTV about some OTHER person who had a debt using my #. I would tell them that it was not my debt. They said they would correct the problem and remove my number. I got over a hundred calls from DirecTV in a 3 month time period. Now I get calls from this collection agency. I am going to call them and inform them they are harassing me about a debt that I don't own. If they don't stop, I will call an attorney. I am only 15 and I couldn't get a contract with them anyways.

This number calls and lets the phone ring 1 time and hangs up all day long, have called this number several times and let them know I do not have DTV, and never have. Still will not stop calling.

Looks like they just have me and me only to call. I swear they call at least 5 times an hour from 9a until 9p. I can barely use my phone for anything but them to call.

It is abuse, and even if yo make a promice to pay, they still call way to much. I made one call, promiced to pay, in 5 min, they called me back again.

They keep calling me so I entered their number in my phonebook and gave them a silent ring for a ringer ID. voila

Just want to say right off, REALITYCHECK and SEAN are FREAKIN AZZHOLEZ!! (yes we spelled that wrong) and we do not need REALITYCHECK and SEAN correct our spelling. These two guys must not have a life, i mean come on, what kind of a FREAK bashes on people in a Forum for reverse phone number lookup?? I have seen a lot on the internet and you find a lot of weird people on line, but to Hijack this forum, i wonder who really needs a REALITYCHECK hear?? Losers!

Our business gets calls on our FAX line from this number on a regular 1 hour basis, we have asked them in a polite manor not to call the number anymore as they tie up our FAX line, they continue to call without regard to our business. REALITYCHECK and SEAN are Losers. Also we do not have Direct TV either for our business or for personal needs, nor would we ever suscribe to it after this. Also we are behind on any bills, nor has our business or our selves come behind on any bills ever. We do not have those problems.

keeps calling me wont leave message

Started getting these calls from this number stating that I owed money to Directv.  Have never had directv and stated that to the gentleman.  Turns out it is a bill to my late mother who passed away a few months ago.  I informed them of this and they told me since I was her son that it was my responsiblity to pay it.  He even went so far to tell me that they would take me to court over $112.57!!!  After that I hung up.  Any suggestions from anyone?
