I received a call from this # tonight and called it back using *67 and there was a small child who answered the phone and I just hung up. I use this site frequently so I thought I'd check it out and have read through all 5 pages of comments and find it all on the disturbing side. I took the advice of tons of folks and set the # to automatically go to voicemail.

I answered. Church of Scientology looking for people and validating their database.

Keep receiving unwanted calls from this number, and I am on the do not call register.

this # called us several times...never leaving a message.  So i called the # back.  asked if it ws the church of scientology (after reading the comments on this website) She said it was the mailroom for the church of scientology.  tried to get info out of me like my address and name, but i told her to have our # removed from their call list.  She was a chatty girl...almost felt like she was trying to keep me on the line to trace the call or something...(paranoia IS just a heightened sense of awareness, afterall...).  She told me her name was Debbie Cole, and if we got any more calls, to just ask for her in the mail room.   Weird bunch, those scientologists.. I have heard they will go way out of their way to ruin you if you "quit" their group....[***] 'em.

Multiple calls- called back and mailing dept from Church of Scientology said wanted my name and number to remove from the system...I did not provide. Such a waste of time!!!!

Didnt know who was calling answered the call no one said anything. IAm in NC and 15 yrs ago in HS i was In Scientology for a couple of courses in MI. how did they get my cell phone number that is a NV number weird. They still send my old MI address crap cause my uncle lives there

I received a call from this number just a few minutes ago. Asked for me by my maiden name - I said they had the wrong number. My Caller ID said "CA" and then this phone number so I am not sure what it is and I didn't ask.

323-960-3543 called saying that they had my old information, i told i did not know who they were now i see it is loosers from scientology... scientology was barred from france after they ripped off an old lady of her life savings, these people are crooks...

Just got a call moments ago fro them. Man told me they were calling to verify my address. I said "Who is this?" and his response was it was the COS. I told him I wasn't a member and never have been. Hung up on him.

My thinking is simple. Find telephone numbers of members and call them everyday. Even Tom Cruise or John Travolta. What's good for the goose is good for the gander!

I absolutely agree. Once the Scientologists have your phone number, they will never, EVER, leave you alone.

PAR is correct. Non-profit organizations are exempt for the "Do not call me, effing mother effers" list. This is yet another serious Special Interest screw-up by our lovely "we love and cater to all kinds of Special Interest Groups" effing government. Argh !!!!

Pegasus, there is a way to block calls to your cell phone from unwanted callers, or at least a workaround. Try this:
Create or download a so-called "silent" ring tone.
Wire this silent ring tone into a "Spammers, Scammers and Scientology" contact. (The name of your Spammers, et al contact is up to you.)
When our lovely Spammers, et at friends call you, the silent ring tone will hopefully buy you a little piece of mind :-)
Note however, that the silent ring tone does not silence the vibrate mode :-(

I keep getting calls from them every Thursday or week ends. They will not stop!!!!!!!!!!

2:11 PM Their Call Bot rang my phone.

TeleBouncer processed the call without us lifting a finger...  (Well our middle finger, perhaps...)       Got the # off caller ID.

It never stops!!! How can I make this stop? I've tried do not call for cell phones and land line. They are stealing my minutes.

The only way they are going to stop, is if you make it very, very painful for them whenever they call you.

I suggest you go to the Dollar Tree store and  buy an airhorn for $1. Whenever your cell ID shows one of their numbers, pull out your air horn and blast away. After a few times, they'll get the message, or else they'll be deaf!  If any of your friends are there, tell  them it's a creepy telemarketer, they will understand.

yeah - don't know how i got on their radar - house i live in had bunch of scientologists it seems quite a long time ago - they still send tons of mail here - stopped some of the expensive stuff they used to send but they still send the less expensive mailers and the send us money mail I'm guessing - always have to bug USPS to send back not at this address etc..

...no idea how they connected me to my cell number. It was a land line number and I am on the no call list.
