I dealt with Kitchen Carolina and have settled with them, hopefully.  A few problems exist, but I can handle them.

The subcontractor cannot put a lien on the home of a Kitchen Carolina client.  Check with your lawyer.

And, whatever issues you have with Kitchen Carolina, going after the innocent homeowner is unethical and immoral.

you are just wrong to put liens on the homeowners. We have already paid Kitchen Carolina.  It is not my fault they are not paying you. Shame on you!

I worked for Kitchen Carolina as a Cabinet Installer and never had one unsatisfied customer with my work, but that didnt stop Kitchen Carolina from taking me for $6500. I am not planning to put a lein on any of the homeowners, I am also trying to finish any jobs that are unfinshed, and working out payment from them directly. I also filed a complaint with 5 on your side, WRAL so if more of you do the same maybe we can get this out on the airways. If any of you still need a Cabinet Installer with 15yrs experience I can be reached at jkitto@nc.rr.com, also I can vouch for Ken the plumber, and Roger the electrician they do excellent work. There still is a few of us out there that care.

So everytime we talk to a stupid employee at KC, they are just trying to get us off the phone?

are you crazy. just wondering how you settled. did it take a lawyer. We just started talking with a lawyer and he also said they couldn't put a lien on the house. did you still owe money and have the cost of fixing/finishing stuff deducted from that amount? did you go thru GE money at all and attempt to get any of that money back. And wont be coming back. All their assets are frozen (step-1 in a forced audit. "no body move....any money that is..."). No Credit, No Tile, No Cabinets, and trying for free workers.

As the Feds sift thru the numbers (which they are currently doing), we will find out if monies were poured into a dummy account, a complicit account, or poor management.

If you see a lot of Fed Cars (black fords) out front, dont be alarmed. To the Stoner Cabinet guys; dont dump your stash....they dont care...they're  lawyers with badges with bigger things to do.

The doors aint closed and we are getting all our materials at lowes and home depot. They have cabinets just like the ones we sold (so what if it aint armstrong we got so much going wrong and the home owners are so stupit that we can bait and switch and they wont even know. We can match any tile that was picked and the hardwood too at lowes and home depot. We have already hired new guys to do the work that are paying for everything.
None of our books are frozen, the heat is still on.
we have a full time occifer in the lobby so no one gets outta line.

The latest I heard from a homeowner yesterday is that all of Kitchen Carolina's computers were stolen from the office, if this is true it was probably a inside job to keep any information away from the law.

I just had someone come to my house who was trained by "Dealerstaff" to sell cars and he wanted to repair my tiles....that aint right man....
