Guy called asking about smoke alarms and I said I was all set! Then he said "F@CK You" and hung up. I called the number back and it said the phone was disconnected.

Just got a call today from this number. When they left a message there was a lot of background noise, but no-one said anything. JERKS

This is a scam-asking for financial info. after doing a ridiculous survey-police say not to even answer this phone call-read the article from Massachusetts:

Called and asked me if I had smoke detectors.  I said yes.  Then he asked if my refrigerator was running.  When I said yes, he said "then go chase it" and hung up!!  Who are thee fools?

Got a call from this number this evening.  Caller ID said Rhode is Call.  An foreign sounding person person asked to speak to the homeowner so I hung up.  The background was very noisy.  My number is on the 'do not call registry.  So I filed a complaint.

Last night I received a call at 9:06pm from this #.  A man with a Middle East accent was on the line asking if we had smoke alarms I told him I do not give that info out over the phone. He stated that he was doing his F****** job then when I stated that there were laws in the US for calls after pm and I would appreciate it if he took us off his list he told me to go to Hell and hung up.  I am already on do not call list.   Would like to find out how to deal with people like this.

Foreign sounding individual identified himself as an authorized GE dealer and indicated he was calling to offer me a free GE security system.  Told him I already had one and hung up.

401-401-0125  I have a unlisted number and they always calling hanging up, never leaves a message.  Very annoying.

This is the second time I have gotten these calles from these people.  The last time was several months ago with a different caller ID.  I suspect they are using several ID numbers to make these harrassing calls.

I can't imagine how screwed up a person (or their culture) could be to continue wasting their time calling me or others who are obviously very annoyed with them. I made it very clear to both of the babbling morons that called me, that I was not interested in their survey, or their products. My request to be removed from their calling list was ignored. I am on local and national do not call lists - again, clearly ignored twice. I will file a complaint. I hope the cave dwelling dirt bags that continue to make these calls catch the plague from their fleas.

Said something about a survey, Told them not to call again, This number is on the do not call registry.  I think this is a scam to get personal info.   Please stop these people. Caller Id Shows Rhode Island,and the number   date 04/16/2010...time of call3:05 p.m.

I wonder if they are seeing if people have alarms and/or home.  Called three times in 5 minutes and said taking a Smoke Alarm Survey . Third time I said I was going to report them and he said "Report this to whoever you want but your going to answer this F**cken Survey"  I called the FCC not that it will probably help.

He basically did the same thing to me .. saying the F**k word

Received call today from this number and a person with an Indian accent wanted to know if we had working smoke detectors and I told him I was not interested in anything he had to sell and I hung up!!! We are on the do not call list!!!

Just checked my messages. This call came in at 5:53 ct. There were a bunch of voices on the answering machine, I could not make out what was being said. Caller ID showed "RHODE IS CALL." The number was 401-401-0125l. Needless to say, I deleted the call.

Just received a phone call from this [***]. This math wizard was mumbling something, but I couldn't understand him. Said his name was Sol.

These [***] clowns have been calling for a couple of months but I don't really care.
In fact, I get satisfaction from wasting their time. When they call and ask how many smoke alarms I have, I tell them that I don't know what a smoke alarm is and ask them to describe it.
They can call as often as they like ...they're not getting $hit from me.

The first time I got this call I did not answer and let it go to the recording. The next time they called I answered and they asked me if I had working smoke alarms and I told them yes.. I SELL THEM.. no more calls.

Indian-sounding male saying he was area GE rep. He asked if I was the homeowner, and when I reluctantly answered yes, he said that I had won a free security system. I said no thanks and hung up.
