Found a charge of $245 for pp*stponamearl. My bank said the purchase was out of Indiana. No one said anything about pay pal.

I have a charge of 62.95 and do not know what it is for.

Note the way the number was written makes it appear to be a Romanian phone number (country code 40).

I received a $250 fraudulent charge on my MasterCard attributed to PP*MARION from Danville, VA but this number is from an Ohama areas code.  When I call I just get a busy signal.  I checked my paypal account and no corresponding charge there.

Oh my, I just read your post. Indeed, Romania! That's it! My son was in Romania and Moldova last week and used my number to submit a college application in the U.S. I bet his Internet was hacked!!!

Dealing with the exact same thing now.  Charges from a spin magic our of nebraska!  Not ours - purchase made online!

Happened on July 11, 2015 folks! A whopping $254.00 taken from our account. Took 5 days of diligence to have the credit union return the money and believe the unauthorized $254.00 was actual fraud, pray tell!

Same number just checked my bank account 239dollars less.

Notified Visa that this transaction was fraudulent while it was still pending. Told them of this web page and that number being used to get money was not legal. I asked Visa to cancel transaction BEFORE it was actually finalized and their response was...it's not fraudulent charge until it is posted..
What a crock of (----). It's fraudulent because I didn't authorize it..
Now I have to wait to get MY monies back.
Hit me for $239 dollars.

The same as many other comments. Money charged to my Visa card. On my account, it looks like it is to PayPay, but I rarely use my PayPal account. From the comments it looks like this number has been behind these thefts for at least two years. Can't some of the bank fraud departments track down who this number belongs to? I have tried calling it several times, but just get a busy signal.

I just got a fraudulent charge for $690 on my debit card. On my statement it's listed as "Dental Hipho" from Canton, GA. Luckily, my bank is reversing the charges.

This number showed up on a fraudulent charge on my credit card. Shows as some sort of company with just a bunch of letters out of TN even though it is a Nebraska number. Bank is taking care of it.

July 24th 2015 and this "PP*TM HUA 40293544NJ"  has put a hold on $236. of my bank account - my bank immediately reversed it and now on 7/25 they've done it again...cannot contact bank until Monday 7/27 - How to stop this??!!  Paypal said they got my pin number thru hacking my computer on a website called GaiamTV.com where I was trying to purchase a 99 cent item using paypal. Once I saw the site predatory scamming terms-agreement I didn't put thru the transaction, but the couple of minutes I was on there was enough time for them to snatch my info and rob my bank account!

Got my money back one week later. Bank couldn't tell me how I was hacked. Just wish the bank would have listened to me when I told them it was not a purchase I made. First thing anybody need to do is cancel their debit cards and then start changing pin #'s

My wife was hit for $237 from this number. Transaction is listed as Pay Pal but she has no PP account. Caught it in "pending" stage and bank was taking care of charges. Originated in Louisiana.

I'm always checking my account. The charge was thru PP* for 245.00. this was not long after I ordered parts online thru "rockauto"!! check your account daily!! should get the money back!!

Just found a charge on my checking debit card from this number showed up as "PP*KKLLIIE INC 402-935-2244" . I tried calling the number and it stayed busy for an hour then finally got it to ring for about 3 minutes before a recording stated that the number was unavailable! Luckily I have a great bank and they have cancelled my card and are starting paperwork to refund my money.   From the other posts it sounds like this person has been using the same number to scam for years. Why can't they shut him down?

I  had made an online purchase (from Cabelas ) a few days before this happened.

I have a $75.00 charge on my Visa card from the 402-935-7733 number.  It says it's from PayPal. The name of the person with that number is Alicia Berni. I don't know how she got my Visa number...not happy about this.  I will dispute the charge.

As a follow up. I just found that my I-phone had been hacked prior to my debit card hacked. Have no idea how this was accomplished other than by downloading app's.
Again my advice is to change all passwords..
