I've worked at PayPal in the past in the Omaha office. We definitely weren't inmates, in fact, depending on which position and the sensitivity of the information you're dealing with you have to have and maintain a minimum credit score.
This number is in fact a PayPal number. If you disagree just get a number from Paypal.com, they own about 12,000 phone numbers in all.

Paypal does not close.  They work 24/7/365.  It is perfectly reasonable for them to investigate a transaction on Sunday.  

They have a call center here in Omaha.  I've met a couple of people who work there.  One of them told me she was scheduled to work on Christmas.

I contacted PayPal's customer service at 402-935-2050 and they said that 402-935-7733 is not a valid PayPal number.  This number was associated with an invalid charge on my credit card.  The merchant name listed was PAYPAL *SPEEDYSHARE.  This is a fraudulent charge!!!  I am reporting it to the security department of PayPal.

Today I recieved about 7 calls from 402-935-7733..I did not answer because it is an unknown number to me. My voice mail was on but there is no message left. I returned the call calling the number..and no answer no ring tone nothing..

So its scam???

Last month I didn't receive my Slate Chase invoice in the mail (thought rather suspicious).....so I had to call them to pay over the phone, and requested them to mail me a copy of the invoice, and there was that suspicious  number
PAYPAL *EBAYINCSHIP 4029357733 CA it had several charges beginning on 11/04 all the way up to 11/24.....had to cancel my credit card & ask for new ones.....grrrrrrrrr ! stupid mofos !

I actually got a call from this number and to CONFIRM it is paypal customer service.
I phoned Paypal up as i'm waiting for my account to be open again due to limations. AND they have confirmed that this number IS paypal!!

I thought it was dodgy so i didnt answer it but i called paypal and they confirmed it is actually a genuine paypal service!!

My credit card extension (for my wife) was charged twice by this merchant acc # 402 935 7733 for P100.00 each. The incident happened while we are waiting for the transaction on my credit card (principal) for teh meal we had in a restaurant. We waited for @ 20 minutes before i got my credit card back with the process transaction. We learned from the credit card company HSBC that the transactions was made by this account while we were waiting for the return of my credit card. The time of the transaction with the restaurant stated on my receipt was 9:16 PM, while the two transactions were timed at 9:31PM and 9:35PM on the same date.

i got some bills from this no. on my bank ststment i dont know nothing about this , didnt order nothing please help me with this

@Ed Sace - I experienced the same issue. Had 2 paypal and 1 offgamers transactions on my billing statement this month. This is already under investigation by the credit card company. May I know which establishment that was? We could have a common issue here. Thanks.

I received a charge on my from 402-93507733 and I don't recognize the company-I am the only user of the card

I had a phone call today from the +14029357733 number at about 4:30 today, claiming they were from paypal.

As I already closed the account earlier in the day after spending best part of a week trying to get my money back (in excess of 900).

I sent an e-mail to PayPal informing them of what has happened

I have changed all my passwords I could think of.

** IMPORTANT **

If you were hacked via your e-mail check your e-mail forwarding preferences on the webmail.  I found an e-mail address which was going to YMail account.  Erase this immediately, before a copy of any e-mail get copies and sent elsewhere.

Yup, PayPal, I did a large amount to pay for my daughters dentist bill, they called a few minutes later. Totally valid

Yeah I'm getting charge a second time by MNAISKROKKR in CA.  The first time it was through PayPal with an email that lead to a fake site and PayPal stopped it.  This second charge for the same amount as the first one says it's from the same MNAISKROKKR.  I checked my PayPal account there is no record of any transactions and I didn't get an email.

I had a fraudulent charge on my credit card in Feb 2007 that showed "PAYPAL *SUPPORT 402 935 7733 CA for several hundred dollars.  Does anyone have a similar story or have any information

This number appeared on a credit card statement charge that I didn't recognize at first. Turned out to be a legitimate online payment I made to a local medical facility. The number must refer to the online payment service, perhaps managed through PayPal.

This number is pay pal.  Got a call today from them.  They were verifying a transaction I made yesterday.  Since it was a large amount and my first transaction with that vendor they called to make sure it was legit.

This is the sign of a good company looking out for those who use their services.
