It's Gallup.  They are a third party polling company. I work for Walgreens and we were recently asked to take the employee satisfaction survey.  They hired Gallup to do it because they want to make sure the answers and comments stay annonymous.  We were told by our managers that it was a simple survey and that we would not recieve any calls or anything from taking it.  However, for the past week (since I took the survey) I've been getting a call from this number.  I had no idea what it was since I didn't answer.  Then I called back and found out.  But it is just a recording and it doesn't let you speak to anyone.  So, now I basically have to wait for them to call me back to yell at them for calling me without permission when I've already taken my survey that was asked of me.  I'll also be bringing it to my boss' attention that they are INDEED calling the employess that participated...UNACCEPTABLE!

Now Walgreen uses this number as a front to collect personal info on its employees.   What they can't get from you on your employment application they get from you through a false survey that bill collectors also use.  This is not the real Gallup Poll but a front used by Bill Collectors

Prior to you getting the number it was owned by someone the Bill Collectors are looking for.  Good luck trying to convince them you are someone else!!!!!!!!  These excrement eaters will think you are a liar.

Why don't they have Gallup Poll show on caller ID?

There is no one collection agency using this number.  Many do... including Absolute Resolution Inc. and Stellar Inc.  This number is associated to a fake web page (Gallup Poll Inc... not the real Gallup Poll ) and is used by multiple collection agencies that hide behind this deceiving front to make you think you are dealing with a legitimate poll.

I think this is the company that's calling TELEPORT COMMUNICATIONS GROUP - OMAHA , but not sure, the cowards won't ever answer. Reported to ATT Cellular, they can block this number from calling you. Good Luck !

Many different collection agencies use this number as a front.  Your return caller id directs your call ( rerouted) to the appropriate Collection Agency using this fake calling poling nbr.

I had a call from this number and played along, they asked me every possible question you could think of from my age to weight, income, outgoings, how hungry I get, stress levels, health, wealth, happiness, religious opinions, politics, you name it they asked it.  Of course I lied in every answer to a point where there computer crashed.
They were ever so polite and said they were from gallup poll healthways www.well-beingindex.com.
All has been reported and being investigated.
Nobody has my mobile and no one ever rings it so I know it is a blag.
I got to waste their time as they tried so hard to steal my id.

Im on a do not call list ... regardless if its a poll or survey i do not wish to be contacted  they do not have this option on there call when i called back .  I  believe that is against the law  they are supose to still have it as an option !

They have been calling EVERY SINGLE DAY. When I ask who is speaking, they hang up.
If it's supposedly legitimate gallup poll, why do they not identify themselves.

i have received several unwanted calls from this number to my mobile in the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia.

Got a call asking to answer questions about a recent visit to Wachovia.  Probably a customer satisfaction survey.  Told them i would not answer any questions and hung up.

the number called me last night after 9pm and then twice today (03/26/11) all three times I asked to be removed and they have continued to call. I am definitely reporting them. I also told them all three times that I was on the DNC list.

You are being called by collection agencies that use the false polling attempt to get info from you regarding yourself or the person they are looking for who they think you know about.

Your response 'Hello' or 'Who is this' even if they do not answer you is being recorded and identifying you through their voice recognition software.  This software has been available for years used by intelligence agencies and now is marketed to collection agencies because it is so readily available.  

They are exempt from the 'no call list' because they are collection agencies not trying to sell a product.
My advise is do not answer the phone, return a phone call, or be fooled by a fake survey.  They use a fake polling approach because polls are also not covered by the 'do not call list' again.. no product is being sold.  If you ignore them long enough they give up because the effort on their part to collect is cost prohibitive .... usually three to six months at the longest of harassment.

These companies are scum bags that have purchased a bad debt for pennies on the dollar and now are trying to bleed every dollar they can get from you or the person you may know they are looking for.
