Calling my cell and we are on the no call list.

10/3/11  5pm 402-952-4444 no message.  I would NEVER call back to ask to be put on a do not call list.  When you call them back you have notified them that the random robo dialed call is active and then your number is passed around the underworld of tele scams.  Just saying

10/5/11  4:57pm  Second day in a row at the same time of day.  Hangs up when answering machine picks up.

It was a Gallap poll for PNC Bank. Did a survey over the phone. I'm sure they do a lot of different polls. I answered so they would stop calling. Hopefully it works.

402-952-4444 Caller Id Wells Fargo...What a rude bunch of folks! Ask you a question and before you can say squat they hang up. Why even call? A useless interruption.

This phone number was automatically blocked by Google Voice.  PERFECT !!!

You can get Google Voice for free.  Forward all of your call their too.  Works like a charm.

Those of you on the Do Not Call Registry list need only to report this number after informing the caller that you are on the registry and will do so should they contact you again.  If they continue to contact you after such notice, report them to the registry and they will be fined for every call they make to you.

How do you get the cease order? Specifically, in the state of TX?

Ya... I love all of the people in this forum that think that the Do Not Call Registry is used to block ANY calls by anyone who hasn't been given explicit permission to call you...  People don't bother trying to understand what the Do Not Call Registry provides.

My number is on the Do Not Call Registry, but dammit, I have certain acquaintances and relatives that I wish would respect that I'm on the Do Not Call Registry stop calling me!!  I just don't want to talk to these people. They never shut up!  They drain the life force out of me. :-)

That's like giving a tantrum throwing a kid a candy bar in the supermarket so that he'll never bother you again for another candy bar.

Best way to get them to ultimately stop is to ignore the behavior, not give them exactly what they called for in the first place!

They are Bill Collectors.  Bill Collectors!!!!!!  Just plain and simple BILL COLLECTORS.

They call at late night, asking for some other person, and you said there is no one with this name here so wrong number, hung up, then again. I had the rigth to sak who is calling? since is my cell and is my minutes you are wasting with your non sense calls, if you identified yourself first, then people may want to talk to you. they do the same thing to my husband and is getting anoing. We have a home phone just to get the internet, no one know the number, well if for some reason my phone is out of batterie, I pul it an make a call. Surprisingly this phone will ring off the hook day or nite, and thank God for voice message system, is full and can not leave a message, so I do not care to errase or lisent to the messages, will be like that till the end of time, in other hand My phone company can block this unwanted calls, so if they are in the registry and they are strangers alling soliciting why do we have call blocks?

Got a call this evening from this number. A gentleman (?) said he was calling from Gallup Poll and wanted to know if I would participate. He assured me it was not a telemarketing call: "I'm not selling anything." However, after I agreed to do the poll, he asked if there was a man in the house over the age of 21. I told him that my husband was there but he would not talk with him. After that he abruptly ended the conversation telling me he could not continue with the poll. In fact, he was almost rude. So much for the Gallup poll. I still believe it was telemarketer. I immediately placed a block on that number, thanks to my Panasonic cordless phone system.

I left out an important part of my previous message. The interviewer told me the poll was concerning the use of adult beverages. I guess he thought a woman could not answer that type of question. How stupid.

I receive calls from this number daily. " Gallop Poll " listed on caller ID.   These telemarketers will stoop to any level just to have another reason to bug people!   Their survey will only incite more spam calling.
I am on the do not call list.   The message to them is:  Stop calling my number!  Since I do not answer your calls, can't your brain tell you to stop calling?  Maybe your brain is not functioning wisely!  

Obviously the "Do not call list" is of no regards.

Obviously these calls are from "nuts" who will stoop to any level to get people personal and private information.  They disguise themselves under fictious names to appear legitimate.  How sad!   I ignore the calls and do not answer; however, it gets to be annoying and disturbing, especially when I am trying to sleep.    I guess I have to keep "praying" for them to forget me!   How sweet it will be!

I am also on the do not call list.     You know, sometimes I wonder if the "DNC" list contributes to these brainless folks!    I have received more calls ever since.     (hum...makes you wonder..)

Made the mistake of answering and it was a lady wanting me to partake in some sort of gAallup poll survey. I told her I was in "rush hour traffic and couldn't talk " . Now my phone is blowing up with these calls trying to get a hold of me again !  STOP CALLING.

Annoying calls - these calls are generated from a computer - DO NOT CALL cannot prevent these calls.  Bummer.  I just do not answer calls from numbers that I do not recognize - if it is important then they will leave a message.
