Do Not Call my cell number. No one is there when I answer and it is using my cell phone minutes

I haven't been to the bank, dealt with Wells Fargo, or any of the other things listed. They are annoying me and I don't want to be bothered any longer.  To those who say you should answer the calls, you obviously work for companies like this.  There is no other reason to encourage people to put up with these calls.  In my case, I just save the number on my cell phone and set the ringer to "No Ring."  They can call to their hearts content and I never know they called until I see the missed call.  Works far better than the "Do not call list" which I am also on, by the way.

Yea, I always get these dumb calls, out of state, and no message. Scam is the only thing I can think of, sometimes my phone only rings twice, other times I answer they hang up. Do they get paid for answered calls?
We sure need better laws on these type of all, there is so many. Junk mail is ok with me, at least I can view it at my own time and toss it if not interested.

It's a survey. I had the call and answered it. They wanted me to take a survey on my recent emergency room visit.

Received a call from this phone number tonight, the company is called Gallup Organiza, they are a survey company for Wells Fargo.

Survey....called me 3 times! Twice I told the operator to take my cellphone number off their list! It was a well being survey for New York State, I live in NY and I told them, who cares.

Just answer the phone and speak like you are an alien from outer space, that will drive them crazy!

I'm pretty sure 800 numbers (like bill collectors)  charities looking for donations and  people doing surveys are exempt from the Do Not Call Registry. So, some of them use this, like make out they are taking a survey.
 I just got a call from this it says Gallup Poll on the Caller ID. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Let them keep calling, it's annoying but I don't answer if I don't know who it is, or what they might want. I have reported calls to the Do Not Call Reg and they still keep calling, I finally gave up.

Not sure wat they wanted but told me that they were from pnc bank which is my bank and were calling to do a survey. I just hung up on them. After seeing these comments looks like a major scam. Prolly to try to get my debit card info

If it is truly Gallup Polls - then there is nothing you can do other than ask them to remove your name from their call-list - database.    The Do Not Call registry and rules do not apply to public opinion pollsters and political organizations who do polling.  Just a fact of life.

Stop calling my cell phone I never answer unkown calls and don't use cell except for family calls. I am also on the government NO CALL LIST, if call again, I will research your company and report you to the BBB.

They called me once at 6:24 PM on July 11th, once at 10:06 AM on July 13th and once more on July 14th at 11:14 am. If they call a fourth time I am going to pick up (if I hear the phone ringing) and yell at them.

I don't answer callers I don't know.

The caller called 2 days in a row. Even if it is Gallop who lobbied to keep their business intrusions legal, they still make a profit off phone calls that are answered.
I have the a legal right to privacy which is constitutionally protected. There is nothing in the constitution that protects Gallop's right to invade privacy. They are politically protected. There's a big difference.

Scam! Don't pick up!

Annoying. Calls then hangs up. Never talked to anyone.
