I responded to this ad on Craigslist, and it did seem fishy. Glad I googled it! Be wary of any apartment listings from this address -- 104 Queensberry St, Boston, MA 02215 -- or this e-mail address -- Living Stone xpressionz78@yahoo.com

The ad on Craigslist did seem too good to be true, but once you e-mail this person, they are obviously a scammer. The pictures don't match the address on Google Maps (look at the shape/style of windows), and "John" has no one looking over his place? [***].

Got a call from this number (guy called himself Chris, said he was from NJ) he wanted to buy my used mountain bike listed on pinkbike.com

I thought it was very suspicious that a call from NJ has the area code 403 (southern Alberta)

I googled this number and glad I did!!!

We almost got screwed too. This was for an apartment at 1240 shaffer road santa cruz. Same messages for 600 a month and you cant see the apartment and just trust us. I am so glad I felt like it was a =scam and googled it.

I am trying to sell two cars, this person keeps calling me but will never say anything when I answer my phone. Now I just need to figure out how to block him on my cell! ~~~Scam Caller~~~~

He just did the same thing to me. I looked him up cuz it seemed to good to be true and well I knew it. i seen this page and then so i looked up what he claimed to be. He claimed to be some vetenarian doctor at the university of bristol. How stupid can he be. I kept telling him that i wasnt going to pay until i veiw and he said he couldnt ship the keys pr anything until i signed a lease agreement. so i looked up the address and where he supposed worked. it was all fake. he went by the name of robert perry and said his wife lived in portland oregon and he was in the UK. yea right give me a break.
