they are just trying to get a commission check it's 08 the check was written in 05 shouldn't someone have come to arrest you alresdy.  They are just trying to make money off of old debts. If you wanted to pay just the face valve of the check + 25.00 nsf fee or they could settle up 40% over 2 months or if you were threaten that's a violation of the FDCPA again contact your attorney general I would keep record of all phone calls

This agency has called my office 5 times per day for the last 30 days. Today, when I arrived at work there was a note from one of my managers stating that a MS. Smith 404 249-1099 ext 1008, called her extension for me. I am appalled! Advice please.

I requested copies of my credit report and I've recently been made aware of a payday loan fraudulent account opened in my name.  I spoke to Ms. Miles who instructed me to fax my information to her.  I will be faxing the requested information today in order to have this negative credit removed from my credit report.  Thank you very much for your help.

It is ashame that so many people spend there time on here complaining and have not once said anything about paying there debts! You know you owe it and you would rather go through the motions of getting a company in trouble for unfair practices instead of not letting your debts get to this level in the first place... You want to put collection agencies out of business the best thing you can do is PAY YOUR BILLS!

people just pay your bill because if they have your employer information and your adress and you refuse  when they  call you they will just be rude and send you over to their atty who has every right to sue you . your best bet is to give them small arrangmnts wich they cant refuse your paymnt and they cant do any thing to you

Good for you TJ however not all the people here deserve your chiding.  Many of the Payday Loan companies (which is what I am understand some of the problems are not all) actually take and take and then send you to a junk debt buyer (worth millons in todays market IF they can get people to pay thus the agressive attitudes of some)

It is good when you have people that work with you on problems and not harrass you into making payments you have already made and actually don't owe them.  Having said that if I were you I would have gone back to the original creditor and dealt with them because guess what????  It is still probably showing as a bad mark on you CR.  CA's cannot remove your bad scores from the original creditor....just an FYI

Jim is right dick I mean Rick BTW sorry TM I put your initials as TJ, anywho, Pay Day loans in several states have regulations that even if you give them a "check" and someone defaults they are not committing fraud (check state laws) many do this because of the ASStronomical (I said Ass LOL)APR/Y and are actually at times violating FDIC rules as to how they are running.

Get your story straight LEARN the law LEARN what your company is held to because guess what a person can actually sue everyone in the company as agents and idividuals how would that make you happy?  Now if you are the owner of this company posting you should know that the lawyer is going for your deep and no doubtly slimey pocket first.

hey this company just called me for an interview, their new number is 404-682-9404 I spoke with someone name nicole who wanted to set me up for an interview with Tyrone barn!!!!!!! Oh my GOD This is scary if it wasn't for me Googleing this company i would have went to the interview. I tell you GOD is good all the time. Good looking out and to the young lady that use to work there, you should contact the Georgia work and labor board and file suit against this company and also contact the BBB goodluck with getting what's rightfully yours don't let them get away with cheating you of your hard earned wages.............GOD bless!

I have worked this company in April, May, and June I agree they don't pay their employees I haven't recieve my check until the middle of May. It was suppose to be $2,000 plus commission I only recieve a check for $1400.00 and June 6,2008 I have resign and recieve my last check for only 250.00. No commission wasn't recieve at all. When hire they said you will get paid salary plus commission No commission and no salary at all. I even worked over time VCA is not a good company to work for. I don't even know why they are in business. I am glad I left there I have got hired on to NCO Financial and doing the same work that I was doing there (Collections) hrly pay + Commission It's a very great company to work with great benefits NCO Financial great company. VCA very bad company and bad business for employees and debtors

They employees are on here typing while at work and you can see their information while on the page. They are dum. They don't get paid nothing only the managers and Receptionist. Collectors barely get a pay check from the Company that's why they have a high turn over  at the company. Anyone decides to get a job hear do a little research before taking the position you don't want to lose everything you have take a job that is full of scam and don't pay their employees. They main key is that they ran out of funds.

Messages have been left on my phone from this number.

I recently made a payment as settlement and never received confirmation from their "pre legal" dept that the acct is settled. I just made another call (3rd attempt) to get a letter saying that acct was settled in payment as agreed. Let's see how long this takes. It's been almost a month.

I have 'NO' outstanding bills.  My credit rating is an 831 which I am very proud of.  This so-called firm just called me today and left a message on my answering machine indicating the state of Colorado filed a claim against me and I better give this my mandatory immediate attention. Oh...and they want to proceed with this situation outside of quote 'normal proceedings' but not sure it can since this case involves incredulent activity.  I'm here to tell you the only people being incredulous is Vandenberg Chase and Assoc. I'm glad I wasn't home and had time to research them on the Internet.  I was panicking wondering what in the world was going on. I have impeccable credit.  If they are trying to contact someone I may know that has an outstanding debt, they have no right to use scare tactics like this.  I'm contacting the FTC, the BBB, and my own law firm tomorrow.  It is about time this company is put out of business.  OH...not to be generalizing but did you all pick up on the name of the President?  Mohammad Ahmed. Maybe if the gov't. were to bail out the american people instead of Wall Street, etc.  we could get this economical crises under control.  Not scared but DAMM MAD!! And stop accusing people of not paying their debt.  This is happening to innocent people who owe nothing.

Someone named Agent Simmons from VCA called my grandson and threatened him with jail and imprisonment if he did not send them 510.00 for a bad check which had been written three years ago.. Come to find out, he had written a bad check but it was for 200.00 and to a different location than what they were telling him. He was told he would be a convicted felon for the rest of his life if he did not send them 510.00. In a panic he agreed to make three seperate payments to VCA and prayed this would clear everything up. If I hadn't researched this company this morning, this young man would have made the first payment today and then in two weeks another one and then the final payment two weeks after that. He was told that the amount over the 200.00 original bad check amount was due to interest, which was 29.97%. This amount was calculated for three years. For three years, Do the math Agent Simmons, at 510.00, you're a little short ! The company is a scam and should be shut down. If anyone reading this has been contacted by Vandenbery Chase & Associates, please disregard what they are telling you and file a complaint with the FTC, BBB and your Attorney General.
