Is this class action lawsuit still pending. I just spoke with Vandenburg, Chase yesterday settled a payment arangement and then was contacted by another company to do the same thing and they are telling me that they are the real company. I am beside myself now. I gave both of these people my information and to top it off these debts are from so long ago 2007 I can't even remember if I paid the debt. On top of all this I am going through a child custody case that is just horrible with my sons father who could care less about his son, just doing it for the child support money. What is this world coming too. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Well Vanderburg got money from us in our bank acct without us knowing and they had our bank info and we didnt even know it.. They kept calling and calling my husbands work and making threats to us and then the calling stopped and just today I was looking back in our acct and Bamm there is was in black and white and they took out over 200 dollars.. I reported them to everyone and even going to to the police.. Watch out and check your bank Accts cause they can get this info online without you knowing..

Are you a shill trying to put it in people's heads that a collector can take money out of your bank account without your knowledge and/or consent? Nobody can get your bank account info online unless they hack into the bank's website. Do you have any idea how much security is behind protecting a bank's website? HA! Give me a break! Vanderberg etal is a real company, therefore, easily found by the police if something like that ever happened. I doubt they would take their chances stealing money from your account! They definitely have issues following the FDCPA, but C'MON!

This company violates the law on every call. Saying they have filed a lawsuit in the county you stay in. and a bunch of other violations. If they contact you email me ASAP let get the violations on tape.

The FDCPA also prohibits collection agencies from accusing consumers of committing a crime where no crime occurred. For example, in Florida, a check written for a pay day loan does not create a criminal cause of action simply because there are not sufficient funds in the account for the check to clear when the post-dated check is eventually presented for payment.

Shush up loranda. You dont know what others are going through with finaces. I bet if you were in their shies you would be trying to figure a way to pay. Live and learn. We all have or had debt at one point. Were human and not perfect. And as far as these people they are collection people trying to recover a debt. It dont give them a right to harass its a tactic to make people pay. Problem solved. The economys debt is because the crooked president and office officals .go figure
