- ROBGot a call from this number, appeared on caller ID as Marriott, left no message. Reverse phone lookup indicates this number is listed to an Andy Brawand in Orlando, FL. Definitely not the hotel chain.
- Caller: "Marriott"
- andyCaller ID is Marriott. Its Marriott Vacation Club International, 8403 Southpark Cir, Ste 600, Orlando, FL 32819
Timeshare telemarketer. Too bad Obama is making me spend all my retirement money on his higher taxes, gas, and health care. I might have been interested. - Ticked Off ConsumerThey called my home twice, looking for a relative not here. Glad to know what it is--thanks to everyone who responded.
- Caller: marriott, apparently
- RaiderI got crabs there, but no fault of Marriott's... I get a call from this number daily! We all need to pick up and then set the phone down.

- jde| 1 replyEven if it is legit, I never signed up for anything from Marriott or anywhere else, so why are they calling repeatedly? I feel like my phone number is out there floating in cyberspace somewhere and it is up for grabs by anyone and everyone. I am on that confounded Do Not Call List, which I think is totally bogus at this point, as it apparently isn't doing a darned thing to protect me from anyone. I have yelled into the phone for them (all of them) to stop calling, and it doesn't work. Have punched #3 to be removed from their list, and it doesn't happen. Frustrated beyone belief!

- Fraud Hammer replies to TaraIt's a fraud folks - has nothing to do with Marriott. They are not allowed to call and you should report the fraud to Marriott and the DNC list.
- Fraud Warning replies to jdeIt's a telemarketing fraud being operated out of a boiler room using illegal robo-dialers. Do not provide any credit card information whatsoever or you can kiss your cash goodbye.
- Matt| 1 replyI am a Marriott Rewards member and this is the number the Vacation Club side of the house calls me from. I know this because I am also a vacation club owner. I have a few weeks and use them every year.
Fraud Warning above is an idiot because they do not ask for credit card numbers. What a moron. - Fraud AlertIt's a telemarketing fraud being operated out of a boiler room using illegal robo-dialers - it has nothing to do with Marriott.
Do not provide any credit card information whatsoever or you can kiss your cash goodbye.
It's a scam - don't be fooled by the shills posting here.- Caller: Free Vacation Fraud
- Big Daddy replies to Bonzoid"or I'll report you to the Attorneys General"
Good luck with that - bluemooncaller offered a free 6 day stay in Hawaii for two.
I can't swim that far.- Caller: Marriott

- Haywood Jablowme replies to V. ChaseAll you have to do is stop f'ing phone harrassing people just because they "signed up" for something. F-off spam [***]!
- M.H. replies to V. ChaseI'll start answering and let your punk [***] connect the call. Eat a turd!
- LOL ALERT| 1 replyThis thread has existed for 5 years now. If this was a "scam" or a "boiler room" don't you think it would have been shut down by now? Take off your tin foil hats and take advantage of a cheap stay at a high end resort. Then buy the timeshare lol.
- Caller: MARRIOTT
- Call type: Telemarketer
- John B replies to V. ChaseSounds like this is the phone solicitor's own pitch.
Do you not get it! people don't want to be bothered with a pitch of any kind but left along. People who are looking for hotel accommodations and stays at places are savvy enough to look them up on their own on the internet.
I suggest you all as a company use the internet to market and save money and time on annoying phone solicitor marketers and you will ultimately stop pissing people off....................... - NeuUgaCID: Marriott

- BoraxoMarriott Vacations Club. I can attest that these guys are 100% legit and are indeed affiliated with Marriott timeshares, unlike many other "vacation package" spammers.
FYI nobody "wins" anything they are simply selling you a package of nights at their timeshare property. You buy a heavily discounted 5night vacation at studio or 1BR and in return you agree to sit through a 90-minute sales presentation. There is no obligation to buy - we never have (why do so when they keep selling us cheap weeks?)
We have previously purchased 5-night trips to Hawaii, though I gather they sell Orlando and other locations. But the Hawaii timeshares are the best deal, you would be hard pressed to find a hotel room at half the price. Of course you have to listen to a 90 minute presentation and be able to say no...- Caller: Marriott

- mllthey call me too but i did not sign up, fill out a card or leave my number anywhere. i have not stayed in a marriott in years. if i don't answer after 2 attempts then they should stop calling, they know they just harassing me after that or just leave me a message, if i don't return the call then stop calling me.
- Caller: Marriott
- mikescam "you have won ???"--don't answer this scam call.
- PaulaThis is the Marriott, I actually did purchase a vacation from them. Yes you have to view the property (90 minute tour usually in a room the show pictures etc.) They're not the high pressure like others I've dealt with.
You can stay at some lovely places at a cheap price. I got this call today to confirm and I didn't answer because I didn't know the number but they left a message. You have to earn a certain amount of money and you can only view 3 times in a lifetime, this is my third time doing it so it's really not a bad deal. I've been to Aruba and St. Thomas so far.- Caller: Marriott
