How can you win if you never played? Come on, people. Even if i short on money, i would never ever cash a check i don"t know nothing about it. No matter if the check has major companies like Walmart or Sears on it. And what i wonder, if the check is a Check from chase bank, how come tbe bank doesn't figure this out before you cash it. They are always so particular about check cashing

I got mine, April 20 2015.  Same deal,chech for $3,875.  Balance $121,125. Office line: 416-825-5672. I knew it was a scam. It was too good to be true.

I got the same cashier's check yesterday for $3,875 from BBVA Compass.  The Claim Agent is Mr. Jeff Attwell-LLB 1-416-825-5672.

Take the check and envelope to the postoffice and have it forwarded to the postal inspectors.

Just got my check today but the company name is safeway financial group and the name of the agent is Jeff Attwell , also the name Brenda Mcloud. What's crazy is I called the bank (The Huntington National Bank ) to verify the check and it said the funds are in there. I was going to go to my bank until I saw these posts.

They can be prosecuted (by you) for writing you a bad check, you cannot be prosecuted for cashing a bad check, you're the victim.

Wrong, wrong wrongwrongwrongwrong WRONG! YOU CAN be prosecuted for cashing a bad check! Whoever told you otherwise was an IDIOT!

You'd better wise up before you spout things which you know nothing about. Read T.s post above & learn some things before you end up in dire straits or worse.
