- NC1Spam caller for sure. Don't answer as who knows who is calling. Never a message left.
- randoYep i recently registered a domain via arvixe and they published my phone number. I get about 5-10 scam or website services calls a day. I missed this one but based on the other reviews it's the same thing.
- Lady Di replies to rbThey also called at 6:40 a.m., which is a violation, but who's monitoring these fools?
- Leo replies to Former GoDaddy User| 1 replyAll web hosting providers will do the same thing, except if you pay to hide your registration.
- LlsI also used GoDaddy to purchase a new domain, and now I am getting emails & calls from every creep in the world. I found out you need to go into your GoDaddy Settings & there you will find Privacy which is marked by GoDaddy as share everything, just turn it off and they can't share your info. Unfortunately the damage is already done in the domain you just purchased. Send GoDaddy an email condemning this practice!

- CalimeroThey called, hang up, I called back and there was a recording with a msg form customer support. Too bad I read this blog too late. Also, I am not sure I saw GoDaddy warning us and advising to pay for privacy- I would have done it. Instead, I just cancelled my credit card, as I figured it is too late now. The Spam folder is very bloated now days.

- Dannie replies to rbThey have harassed me for over a year make it stop, for no apparent reason......Turn them over to FBI scam they want information. Threatening!!!!

- BrianScam. They are calling about "web" help. I will never purchase a domain from Godaddy again. They sell your number. No more GODADDY.
- Caller: GoDaddy web services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Sarah replies to Kelly JoGo Daddy does the same thing. You can pay them an upcharge to not sell your information to these spammers. I bought my domain from Go Daddy. In their defense, they did tell me I had to pay more to protect my information. As I'm already harrased non-stop anyway for our other business, it didn't seem to make sense. It's really annoying though.
- WebDevMB replies to Kelly JoIt doesn't matter who you purchase the domain from(DoDaddy, Host Gator, BlueHost, etc), they can still get your information unless you pay the extra fee to make it private.
- Carl Bach replies to Kelly JoI'm getting these calls now a few times a day and I just purchased a domain name last week from GoDaddy. I think my problem was that I may have checked the boxes allowing 3rd parties to contact me. Sigh....last time I buy a domain name later at night after a couple beers :)
- ColoradoReporterCaller called a business line... caller hung up when call answered. Given the above, a waste of time to even bother answering this number.
- NM Dude replies to Former GoDaddy UserEasy to fix. Log into your account, select your domain, edit. Put in a bogus phone number. Check with whois your-domain-name
- Kimmy replies to Kelly JoI bought mine from GoDaddy and I am experiencing the same issues you were. Super annoying!
