What time frame is acceptable? is 1 year without a single call from Haller still within your acceptable time frame?

i am taking my accounts back from them. i dont care what they say..if they have a problem with it, they can sue me...ill gladly show up to TX court to win by default. they dont have the cohonies to show up

If you want to get any return at all from the money they collected, filing suit won't help.  They have played the corporate shield game too well.  However, you can get some satisfaction, and possibly some money back (although that is not likely) by contacting local law enforcement or, better yet, the FBI.  There have been numerous cases lately where collection agency owners have been arrested for doing exactly what Michael Haller has done.  A case in point is that of Maxwell, Turner and Associates in California.  Good luck.

If any of you have been Scammed by Still Water & Stone, JB Mikel & Associates or Goldman & Pearce, you may have been in contact with a Frank or a Jeff or a Mike.  If you have please respond to me & we can work together to get our money back.  They collected on our accounts & have not paid us our portion.  Please respond & hopefully we can put a stop to this.

Jeff Buono has filed bankruptcy and his partner is playing the blame game and crying because he makes $2000/month now. All of those businesses are done. They don't have enough money combined to pay back what they owe.

Not only are all of Jeff Buono's businesses a thing of the past, I have learned that he has returned to work with Mike Haller, at NRG & Associates.  Not too surprising, since Mike taught Jeff all he knew about ripping off clients.

We too have been had by this company under the name of NRG & Associates.    They have made a collect from a past due account of $1500.00 back in November and have not paid us.   Continued calls are not responded too.  I have filed a complaint with the local BBB and they too have responded that they are unable to make contact with anyone.

The guy who thinks he's "smart enough" is the collection manager at NRS National Recovery Systems ..Doug Holmes... See what's unique about NRS is that it is the birth place of the ripoff collection agencies in Dallas.  They invented it, they hire drug addicts, alcoholics, and felons then they teach them the art of the scam. NRS was created by Jerry Curtis Rick Steel And the boiler room runner king Michael Haller. NRS created all the problems and ripoff collection workers PERIOD... they are the source. Doug Holmes currently trains and creates the people that decide to go on there own to rip you off in the future and whines when they do it. Its shocking to see him chime in but the main suspect always likes to watch the victims squirm. He secretly admires Jerry Curtis, Rick Steel, Michael Haller that moved on to created Burt & Associates and are insanely rich. Michael Haller branched off to create HHT as his cut wasn't enough and now NRG & Associates. NRG was made after NRS spent tens of thousands suing Haller but Haller always has the last laugh. The spin offs from NRS wont stop ever and their trained top sales people/ collectors go on to make the real money ripping people off on the debts that most companies are too dumb or lazy to collect themselves. Yes i am sure it gets harder but the new kid Tucker Albin & Associates ran by Allen Humphries, is the biggest new thing in the Dallas area which currently has all the talent that made these collection companies billions of stolen money. Doug is just jealous they NRS lost all their talent and have downsized with pay cuts. Doug's a total drunk so his liver will give out soon enough not to worry about that little Indian. Michael Hallar trained all the great sales people that are the key to whole mess of small shops he is the mastermind but he's heartless and greedy. Haller hopes for Tucker to fall as most the fun is brain washing his old telephone tuff guys..so whats to blame for the same ole sales pitch and collection talk offs you know and love. NRS!!!!...if you ever been ripped off that is where it started...Don't let Doug fool ya NRS has stolen so much money they operate legitimate to prying eyes because NRS has been a major source of money laundering for other companies with big names but they still use the same ole tactics that people are getting numb and wise too. Doug Holmes is just trying to be righteous when he's been living on stolen money for years, He's butt hurt because all the spawn NRS created and the Internet communities is slowly killing off his ability to maintain his addictions getting phat paychecks surfing the net, playing I wish NRS still made millions a month.

Don't use these [***] because after they collect your money, they keep it all and don't return your calls.

Karl Stanley and Jeff Buono are at it again, their new company is Thorton, Frost & Associates 15150 Preston Rd Dallas TX 75248.  Phone numbers 972-863-2899, and 972-465-9265.  These two criminals have opened up agency after agency stealing money, contact a detective or FBI agent as soon as you get a call from these crooks!  They need to be put behind bars!

I know this company from the inside..  chances CallerID wont get you to the right place.. most times they are masked from an outside DID number that they own outside the state .. standard boiler room practice.  They are rude and are trained to be rude and will use any angle to try to harass you.  Neighboring calls, relatives, etc..  they have a DNC list but know how to skirt that using the sister company or another location.  They try to get you to sign some outrageous percentage.. and unless it is in writing will take the very latest time to send you your money , if at all.  They will take you to court and fight you with your own money..  Mike H, Mike M., and Jeff B. are sharks..   Pratt is a good guy but buys into the crap being handed out.  I wouldn't trust these guys with my info.. they are pretty close to  an identity theft style company.

The more I read about these NRG scums I was lucky to not let them know my business, They tried to pressure me into some recorded verbal contract. When I said no and hung up they called me back from some fake local phone number and made me fear for my safety...How are these people allowed to operate, texas laws must suck.

Unfortunately you have nothing better to do except follow me around and ask questions.  Then call my employers.  I am just a man that had enough experience as a salesman and as a sales manager to open a collection agency.  Jumped out there and risked it all.  We did well for the first year and grew faster than most businesses.  Then I left the business to fly solo.  When my ex-business partner had the company on his own he fired all of my people. Settled the accounts and folded the business with in a few months. Owing everyone money.  Because I had started another business people came after that business.  Posting scathing remarks on here on businesses that none of them had done business with.  I rode that hurricane as long as I could. However, I couldn't get it to grow.  I opened a new one in a different part of town hoping that I could get some traction and ran in to the same issues.  I decided that it was not for me.  I just need to do something different and work for somebody.  Every place I went to work you guys post it on the internet. You guys are obsessed. I filed bankruptcy and they kept dragging it on and on and on.  I withdrew my petition to file.  I had to focus on paying my bills and taking care of my family.  All of my ex-employees started collection agencies asking me questions.  I started a consulting company Buono Business Consulting to help them out.  Recommending my vendors etc.  Always stressing to them to pay the clients.  Grow slowly.  Make sure you have a partner you can trust 100%.  Then I went to work full time for one of my clients they blew up quickly telling me the had all of this money to pay for it.  They want the best. etc etc .  Long story short they fired me because of these online post. I missed work a couple of days to handle some family issues.  I went back to consulting and bills were coming fast that I could not pay.  My ex-business partner from long ago calls out of the blue.  We make up and started Thornton, Frost & Associates after my Grand parents names.  Stressed to him we have to pay these people. take it slow.  I don't want my name on anything I trust you to pay me what our share will be.  Well we started slow but people wanted to work for us again.  I tell them I cant talk to you unless you don't work for a competitor.  Bunch showed we started rolling and then BOOM!!  BAM!! POW!!  Same s*** different day.  Partner is no where to be found.  He is the only signer.  Got to let people go. I had one more guy hanging in there with me.  Partner comes back collects money we go to pay bills and he disappears again.  Thanksgiving, I am talking with family about business and get an account.  I was planning on collecting it myself then Bam partner shows back up. HE collects it in two check over two weeks.  We cut my uncle his two checks less our fee.  The first one clears.  I get more business. Other guy gets business. Then my partner collects the money. I write checks for rent and payroll. BOING the checks bounce. Partner (the only signer on the account) is no where to be found.  Account is empty. I am broke. Just bounced my rent money.  I had to borrow from family that doesn't have the money to pay the bills.  I get a job that started at the end of December selling phones to businesses.  Then low and behold one of you guys email the entire company that I am a crook and so are they for having me work there.  They immediately terminate me. WOW.  I have been lost.  I do not know what to do.  I do not know what you people want from me.  I do not have any money.  Any money that was made and not paid out went to running the business.  I can not work anywhere because you people will post more or call them.   ANYONE CAN POST ANYTHING ABOUT ANYONE ON THIS WEBSITE AND NOBODY SHOULD EVER CARE WHAT IT SAYS.  That has been what I felt since 2009 when I first found the sight while working for as VP of sales at another agency.

SO HERE IS THE SOLUTION TO THIS UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATION.  IF I HAVE HARMED YOU.  IF I OWE YOU SOMETHING. ANYTHING AT ALL. AN APPOLOGY. PRAYER. MONEY. RESPECT. A HUG. A JOB. I will be willing to do whatever it takes to right my wrong.  Be creative.  However, once I have paid the debt off to you.  You agree to stop and or delete all of your postings.  Also, if I do not owe you a dime.  You should just be shamed of yourself and stop.  If I have hurt your feelings bring it to God and pray.  He will forgive you and I will too.  It is Easter.  I want a clean slate.  This is my email address that I have set up so you can email to me what you would like me to do to make right the wrong that I have done.

NRG & Associates harassed us with NUMEROUS phone calls about hiring them to collect an owed debt. Our company finally gave in and agreed to let them try to collect a $100,000+ claim owed to us. 1)They NEVER returned our phone calls asking for updates. 2) They agreed to a lower "settlement" amount without our authority or approval. 3) They proceeded to lie to us that they were waiting on the company to send them the settlement check in order for them to send us our collected money. After 10 months of endless runarounds, we've finally hired an attorney and have found that they endorsed a check made out directly to us and deposited it into THEIR account, and continue to lie about it.
