good chance your negative or behind a payment.  anybody happen to notice they get these calls when they owe wells fargo money,  thats when i get em.  just gotta hit ignore til payday.  they also call from 515 221 5654.

I don't have an account with Wells Fargo, so why the hell would they call me? No one else has ever had my number.

Been getting calls from this number. Calling themselves Wells Fargo. The problem is, I do not have and have never had a account with Wells Fargo. Don't pass info to this number. Most likely spam.

Have been receiving calls from this number as well and when I answered no one was on the other end of the line. When I looked the number up on line it is out of the state of Washington. Thanks for the posts.

We made a change on our Wells Fargo account and the next day we got a phone call from a woman identifying herself as a Wells Fargo employee.  She said she wanted to verify our account# so she could setup our rewards program.  My husband said "If you are from the bank, then you should have my account# in front of you."  The lady said she just wanted to verify it over the phone and asked for additional info.  We said we would call our local bank and hung up.  We are still receiving these calls as of TODAY.

I keep getting calls from this number 10-15 times a day.  When my voice mail comes on they leave a recorded message saying for me to press one if it is me.

Received 5 calls from this automated message service using this phone number in one day. I have attempted to follow the protocol to speak with someone but have been unsuccessful. 503-403-2674

They have called me 6 times on Friday, 5 times on Saturday and so far 4 times today (Sunday). They leave automated messages, but I haven't called back. For the person who said "pay your bills duh", I don't bank with Wells Fargo, and I don't have ANY credit Card debt. It has to be a scam.

We have a Wells Fargo card, but we always pay the full balance ahead of the due date. This is some kind of scam.

I started getting calls from this number a few days ago.  I had a temporary account with Wells Fargo dealing with a class reunion, so its part of the same scame against WF customers.  I did not answer the phone and got a voice mail.

You go right ahead and give your account info to the number that calls you. You obviously are very trusting, and apparently not dense like you claim everyone else to be.

My advise to everyone else is, call the legitimate Wells Fargo customer service 800 number and confirm your account issues there. When in doubt, call them out.

I did some checking on this number because I also got a call from 503-403-2674 with no message left and when I called back and I got a rep, he said it was Wells Fargo. They then asked for my acct number (as Wells Fargo will do when YOU call THEM).

So I then followed up by calling the verified 1-800 Wells Fargo number and THAT rep said it was a scam, which is probably standard procedure, until I kept pushing. I said I wanted to speak to someone from Investigations or Fraud, and they finally did their own checking and verified that the phone number above IS from a section of Wells Fargo and is legitimate.

I figured it had to be, because if this is a scam phone number it probably wouldn't have lasted since 2007, right? Wells just has crappy service people and you really have to push for information.

My advice, bank somewhere else.

I had a call this afternoon around 3.

Recieved a call today...I was late on a payment by just a day...not sure if it was coincidence or not.   But I didn't answer....they left a voicemail but it was a pre-recorded message that started mid-sentence.  No idea who it was from so I came on here.

Hey Jerry A.  You are a PERFECT example of why these scammers proliferate and keep bothering us.  Get into the real world.

What an idiot you've made of yourself.  This is NOT a legitimate call to someone who has not paid their bill.  It's a call by scam artists to whatever numbers that are on the list that they have acquired for the express purpose of running a scam.  I get them, and I have no bills due with Wells Fargo or anyone else.

Same story.  I get at least one call from this number every day.  It's a total scam.  What's really shocking is that they can get away with it--even after being exposed on the web.  Where are our consumer protection laws?

I have been receiving these calls for two weeks  One time a message was left saying it was Wells Fargo wanting me to call back with my personal info.. No Way I'm tired of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
