Have received three calls so far from 503-403-2674. They always hang up when my answering machine picks up. No messages. Caller ID always comes up "Unknown Name". My wife and I do have a WF credit card, but the payments are up to date - they are paid automatically each month from our checking account.

Called Hung Up.

After reading this page I checked my account and I had missed a payment on my cc.  I didn't call the number back, but did pay my bill:)

I received 3 phone calls from this number today,  in 3 hours,  last 2 times I answered right away but nobody said anything.

They keep calling me too. How do I make it stop!

I two hang-up calls from these guys today.  I called them back and they claimed to be Wells Fargo and immediately ask for a card number.  However, it so happens that I have never been a Wells Fargo customer, or a card holder from anyone except my local bank.  In fact, Wells Fargo doesn't even operate in my state.  So therefore I conclude that this is some kind of scam.

Just tell them them you are not the account holder and that the number they are calling you on is your new cell/home phone and that you don't even have a WF account. They'll take you off the list.

Do not give out your account number. But when they ask you what your phone number is, just tell them you just got a new cell/home phone number and they will leave you alone. : ). These scanners are duuuumb.

have gotten 4-5 calls a day from this number for five days now

I just received a call from this number. When the caller ID came up "Unavailable" I didn't answer.  I don't take calls from people or phone numbers I'm not familiar with. If it was a legitimate business, their name should come up on the caller ID. Anyway, no message was left on voicemail.

I used to have an account with Wells Fargo many years ago.  I cancelled all accounts with them after they had several laptops stolen, one of which contained my personal information. They were very cloak and dagger about the whole incident so I closed out my accounts and will never go back.

This number keeps calling me and I don't know why.  I don't owe anyone.  They won't leave a message and I don't answer since I don't know who they are.

I am getting really pissed about this # calling and not saying anything when I answer. I'm going to call wells fargo and see what the deal is, If it's not wells fargo, I'm going to call the police due to harassing phone calls.

Duh...it's an automated calling system calling people who need to PAY THEIR BILL. When they get a person that answers, they obviously need to identify which person this is. Someone is a little slow or dense. Figures... a person who can't manage to be a responsible, bill paying adult would try and see the flaws or point the finger at someone else.

I called Wells Fargo Credit Card company to make sure this is a legitimate phn # for their company and it is. The person updated info on my acct correctly! They only call when you're payment is over due! Some people have legit reasons for being over due, for me, my husb was laid off for 7 months & just got back to work, and we are playing catch up on a few bills.

I received a legitimate call from Wells Fargo regarding a credit card (not a debt collector or telemarketer).  My caller-id displayed this telephone number but no name.  

Since caller-id can be tricked, I could not be sure whom I was speaking with.  I chose not to discuss anything with be caller.  Instead, I to called the number on the back of the credit card.

Uhhhhh...WE have NO accounts w/this company (Wells Fargo?) & are not late on ANY payments of ANY kind, so I have no idea why we've started getting constant calls??????????????  They call like 2x per day & never leave a message.
