We've been getting 3-4 calls from this number/day for the past 2 weeks.  How do you stop them from calling...we are on the No Call List.

Both my grandmother and I got a call from this number today. When I answered, the recorded voice said they were from Wells Fargo card services. I hung up because if WF really wants to talk to me, they would have a real person call me.
When they called my grandma, she ignored the call until it went to her answering machine. When she heard my name she thought something was wrong with me, so she pressed 1 like it told her to. That's when the call disconnected. I'm worried that somehow gave them permission to make a charge to her phone account.

I have NEVER been late on my account and I get calls from this number all the time...DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIS NUMBER!!!

Wow did I just go thru an ordeal! After getting the constant calls from the (503) number, I called it and did what it said. In our day and age the first thing they ask for is your credit card number. This is how WF identifies us, and it's kinda weird and scary. So I gave it to them, they read me a bunch of jargon about how my account was overdue. I didn't believe them, cause I never received my paper bill over the holidays. I demanded to speak to a manager and they hung up! I call back and get a similar sounding Asian girl, and I immediately ask where she is. Where are you? "Manila." What like the Philippines? "Yes." I said, thank you I think I'm fuct, and hung up. I've had my id stolen 2 times, and by this point I'm sure I've just sold my soul to some Filipino scam. So I immediately call the 800 number on my Wells Fargo card. I get this guy who sees the same overdraft fees, he explains that the (503) numbers that have called me 5 times a day are from the office next to his. A new "call out" service. My account so overdue $15 so I'm throughly pissed at this moment, but the guy helping me was totally cool. I paid the account and considered closing my WF savings, checking and CC services. Be sure to get on their "NO CALL" list!!!! I have to say I'm concerned about my information floating around the Philippines. I don't trust it and I will close this CC account tomorrow.

Wells Fargo assures me that this is their credit card services department. I've blocked the number, but keep getting messages, "If this is [not my name], press 1. If you are not [him], press" something else. After being transferred to about 5 different offices, I was told, "We don't see this number coming up, but I'll put in a request to stop calling this number."

Next problem, which I asked about, is that the message needs to say, "If you have received this message in error, call [some numebr] to be removed from our list." Is there a way to complain to the feds about their bad business practices?

Try 866-677-1128. It's the number their executive offices gave me.

I jumped through all the hoops to be told by a Wells Fargo executive that this is Wells Fargo credit card services. You can call them at 866-667-1128.

TWO MINUTES after talking to Wells Fargo and being assured my number would be removed frrom their collections list, I got ANOTHER call from this number!

Call back. Tell the computer "I don't have it" when they ask for your account number. Tell real person you get transferred to your problem, and hopefully that will be that. Only time will tell, though.

I'm not the guy they've been calling, and I do NOT have a Wells Fargo account.

I got a call from this number thinking it was a scam.  Then I went on the internet and found this site and people talking about wells fargo and I bank with those jerks..
I decided to call Wells Fargo (The number on the back of my Credit Card mind you) and I found out that I was really over-drafted..  My overdrafts automatically go to my credit card..
If you have a wells Fargo Credit Card or over draft protection give the number on the back of your card a call.

[***] never did send me a letter in the damn mail about the overdraft....

I always research phone numbers I do not recognize especially when I call them back and I get a total jerk on the other end...  Always research info if it is not familiar and it is good to have the internet to help..

Then again most Wells Fargo employees are jerks.

I received 18 calls from this number over a period of 3 days! This filled my voice mailbox. I believe this is excessive!!

It probably a scam because I got a call from this number and I'm only 13

You're horrible, and probably part of the group making the calls. Get off your bum and go work like the rest of us instead of spending your days trying to steal our money.

No bank institute will EVER ask for account info. Get the phone number blocked or report it.

It is a valid wells fargo number. If your credit card goes over the limit or if you need to make a payment on your account, these calls start. Once you make the payment or straighten out your account the calls stop.

this isnt a scam... they usually call you because you are over the limit on your wells fargo credit card or late on payment. again not a scam.. you dont have to give them your card # they can verify your account using other information

The number is good number from Wells fargo, possibly from their collection/credit cards department.  They always call and leave a message for late payments or over the limit on my credit cards.

I blame the idiots of the world who were stupid enough to allow themselves to get scammed in the first place.  If the scammers never made any money - then they would stop making scamming/phishing phone calls and emails.

i don't have an account an we never have ever how did the they get my 3 month old phone number oh i know it is s scam!
