I've receive several calls from this number threatening me to pay for a due account with HIBU which is not true.
HIBU is trying to get money not only for a close contract but for a work not done.

You must be the one calling and scamming everyone. If you read the post, everyone is saying the same thing. This is a scam! I happen to know for a fact our business is owned by multi-millionaires and they pay all their bills. They spoke with hibu/yellow book (knock off version of yellow pages) and paid the remaining balance and then notified them we no longer wished to continue business with them.(because yellow book is a joke) then we start getting harassing phone calls from this little jerk from a fake law office. I know for a fact the little boy calling was not a ligitiment debt collector because his attituted was foul from the first words that left his mouth!
So instead of taking a look in the mirror, the foul mouthed little kids that spend their days pretending to have a real job to only take (or attempt) money from hard working people who are running a real business.
I say get a real job!!!

Can you give a number of lawyers who can take legal action against this agency? I'm having the same problem

I got a few emails from RM  Joe Murdoch.  The guy is a low life prick.  I am a seasonal business and I had a 6 month contract from HIBU/ Yellow pages. HIBU was pissed because I did not renew and now I am getting threats from this low debt collection company.  I fulfilled my 6 month contract with HIBU and Joe was just being rude and demanding.  HIBU are you that desperate for business that you have to send all your non renewal business's over to these scum bags.  I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO THROUGH YELLOW PAGES /HIBU and for anyone out there be careful of what you say yes to on the phone it will suddenly become you signed a contract and you owe your entire life to them!  Hibu pretty much stalked me until I said I would give it a try for just 6 months and this is what happens now I have Joe the wanna be attorney stalking me.  He even told me to make sure I tell social media I don't read contracts.....  He thinks he is funny as well.  I bet your mom is so proud of you sitting behind some desk stalking people LOSER

Just got a message from Joe Murdock saying he was with Rouch Milken and that he was collecting on a debt from my company and to referance my phone number when i called back. First thing he asks when I call him back is "who am I speaking with" I said you called me you should know who I am. He had no answer. I then asked what company he is trying to collect from. Again no answer. These @sshats are just fishing. Don't give any info if you call at all.

Did you respond to them after you have received the letter?
We also received a letter from them about paying the amount within 5 days or else assets and bank accounts would be seized.
How did you resolve it?

They state in their letter "[a]lthough your business may or may not have been incorporated, when you isgned your contract with hibu Inc fka Yellowbook Inc MABD you have agreed to be the coobligator on this debt."

If they had just read the contract then they would see that this statement is not true.  Jerks.

I think the dead giveaway is the 1st grade English.

Making the first payment created you becoming the victim. I have dealt with the same similar situation till I was in tears, all over a yellow page ad I decided to not renew. The threats are overwhelming and exhausting. I hope you found an end to this mess

Fake collection agency benefiting from individuals who dont owe any money to any businesses whatsoever...cheating people out of their hard--earned money...terrible.

YOU give it up! You people aren't fooling ANYONE! Remember, when you go scamming people you WILL get it back seven fold. We know you search for these debts, get all the information you can on it and decide to threaten people to obtain funds, while all the time the debt is NOT TRULY being paid. You are being investigated, and lawsuits are forth coming COUNT ON IT!  Your values are lower than the dirt.  Get a REAL job!

I agree told me my business would double if i got an 800 number..i never got one..told them 3 weeks in..shut it off..now they think i owe them 2200.00 i see a massive lawsuit coming..let me know when it starts building ill join..sick of harraseing letter threats and phone calls.

Hire a lawyer file a global suit for fraud against them..other will join..shut their frauding [***] down.

Dont pay them..their commiteing fraud by stateing their attorneys...their another equafax collection company..screw them.

Anyone saying their not doing it is the LIER. I have a letter frm the [***] acting as an attorney..the mistake..i surrendered it to my attorney who has friend who file global suits..they with my. Permission are fileing a suit against the fools..my attorney who studied.took the bar is highly pissed and to go in front of a judge whome used to be an attorney..i hope they make this fraud a felony with long prison terms.

This is exactly what happened to me. I am not paying them a single penny
I actually lost business and profit because of  this ad campaign that they promised! I was in constant contact with them and nothing changed. The sales rep that sold me on using them actually got fired for false advertising.And now this company is trying to collect on me. Not happening!
