They are doing the same thing to my son. First, they tell him he only has 3 days to pay or they will seize his property or garnish his wages. She wanted his routing number on his checking account, and thank goodness he did not give it to her. They are not allowed to collect your routing number. They tried to tell you have been billed many times and you have not paid. My son said you must have me mixed up with someone else. He askes what address do you have on me? If was some address he never heard of, and he said that's not my address, and she replies, you need to start giving your right address!  My son tells her again that is not his address, but had the right name, and they know he has a business, and this was also about a Yellow pages ad, and he at one time over 4 years ago did have one but canceled it, and now after 4 years, this is happening. I told him I do believe this is a scam. After the 3 days, she calls back and says are you ready to give me your routing number. my son hangs up and next day same thing. So finally he gets a letter saying they are going to sue, but still no bill to see, just the amount owing, and then another week goes by she tries to get the routing number again, and then the other day he got another letter in the mail that said he had to fill out the Affidavit provided because he was going to have to go to court and they will seize his property.

He does not have to fill out anything.  If they are going to sue, there is a procedure that they must follow.  They cannot "seize" anything without a Judge's permission.  To do that they have to prove their case in court, which would include showing documentation that proved your son's business owes the money.  I am surprised that being a business owner, he does not have better acumen on legal matters.  Maybe he should start learning?

Fraud from business advertised website and ads from hibu ads association. How credit debt onto a ad I cancelled and discontinued. Somehow ads continued as unpaid subscription.

Many businesses like Newspapers turn to commercial debt as a way to finance projects and day-to-day operations.  So "Rauch Milliken" must go through their accounts and start harassing the US citizen that get there information hacked or somehow assumes that the person will pay them all sums of money to stop their harassment.  I think it used to work with older people born in the last century because they didn't have information on how to stop this kind of collection of debt and would just pay it so they would not be harassed.  Now with all the information at ones fingertips,  there is no reason for these robbers to take our money.  Besides every small person in this world is so in debt that there is nothing more to give.

Hello. I received a call on my personal cell phone from Jean Marston from Rauch Millliken. She began asking for me at first, and when I asked who was calling, she said who she was and that she is calling about an outstanding bill for parts purchased from AutoZone for $19K. So this sounded like a phishing scam/collection scam intended to bilk me out of money. If you google the person and the company, an actual website comes up. But I knew better. We don't have any debts. I would not tell her any information and she kept repeating the name of the company my husband works for, and other names from the company who don't even work there. They had a data breach recently and I'm sure this is where all this is stemming from. I wouldn't provide/confirm anything. Then I asked her to give me her name, number and email: Jean Marston, Rauch Milliken, 800-335-6487, jmarson@rauchmilliken.com. The number she called from showed up on my phone as 504-837-6995. She wanted me to pass the message for someone to call her. I then blocked her number so she can't call. But I am very concerned that they are trying to scare people into paying bills that don't exist. And that someone may fall for the scam. I reported them to the government. Not sure what will happen, but at least there's a federal record.
