I got a call to my cell. I didn't pick up but I did try to look at a adult site first. It down loaded to my phone. Then I got the call frrom 5109433040

just called and i hung up.i called back and it says welcome to veizon and the number you called cant be reached.i guess the F.C.A doesnt care about this? maybe if a couple of planes fly into some buildings they might?????????????????????????????????????

Told me that there was an affidavit that was going to be submitted to the court because of suspicious activity wth my social. Barely spoke english. Sounded indian or asian. I'm sorry that's why I pay for credit reports checks every month for dnt try to scare me. The Idiots, if ur gonna call wth some vital info, then I'm going to need for you to speak FLUENT english.

I had a phone call today and i live in Toronto. He said his name is Mike and i was having a problem with my computer, i told him i was going to report the problem to Bell so he hung up.

Got the call today. Didn't answer and no message left. From reading the notes here, added them to my list of phone #'s that get auto-redirected to the CRTC phone # :) Enjoy.

this person named william called very heavy indian accent said that i had a computer problem then i found your site now i know that it is a scam next time im gonna play into his scam abit see what information i can get out of him like ( company,why hes calling etc.) and then im gonna report it pronto!

Given the range of the posts here, I'm guessing this number is being spoofed or is rented out to whoever pays the fee. If it shows on your caller ID, don't answer. It's probably a scam.

In this case, the caller asked for an employee who has been the victim of incessant attempted payday loan collection scams. I'm sure I've spoken to this overseas caller many times and told them where to get off. I hung up as soon as they asked to speak to so-and-so. Talking to them does no good.

It's getting so I get more scammer calls than legitimate ones here.

tell the person on the other end to call you at another  number and give. them the local police number mabey they can catch them

Recieved a call from this number. they claim to be a collection agency with theFBI. this is very annoying. i had no choice but to change my phone number.

unsolicited call offering help with PC

I just got a call from 510-943-3040, an Indian guy, with a terrible accent insisting that I have malicious viruses on my computer! I told him if I do have them that's my problem and I don't want to do anything about it, still he was determined to make me let him have access to my PC! Do they think ppl r idiots?!

this number keeps calling my home--I have constantly told them to stop--now they call and hang up

I got the call too...when I called back the air was dead then went to a busy signal.  Do not believe these people...how does once contact Microsoft to inform them of this ?

last week an indian lady called and said she was calling about my computer  i said what about it   she said its infected with many viruses and they need to go in and clean it up for me.. all i have to do is turn on my computer..  i said  ha ha you think i'm stupid? take my phone number of your calling list you b*tch and don't call again.. Then this morning I get another call and before they even had a chance to talk I picked up and said  oh hi its you again you want me to turn on my computer to fix all those virus's right  and so you can go take my banking info and drain me of my money  ok so how bout you f *ck right off today and not call this number again ! they never did talk and i hung up!!! i do however know of at least 2 people that weren't so smart and they did let them into their computer.. they had all their money drained !!

I think they've changed their scam. I keep getting calls from someone named " Bob" who says they have approved me for my $25K car loan. ???

I have asked to be taken off there call list and i was asked but why I advised that i do not want them to call me anymore and if they did that i would report them the rep. goes on to say that she does not care how stupid can one be.

Tell them next time you will send a big US Marine to their front door...heheheh
