I keep calls from 510-943-3040. I do not answer and they never leave a message.

They called me as well. Said they were from Windows. Some guy with a very heavy accent. When I asked again where he works at he said "windows" Told me I had allot of computer viruses. I told him I was running anti-virus and mal-ware protection i got 3 seconds of silence then click.

Just an Asian guy on the phone..with a horrible echo of my own voice.....but he keeps calling.....

I've been getting calls from this number on my cell phone but I haven't answered it and they never leave a message.

they asked me to go to my windows computer... I asked which one, they said the windows computer, i said I have 25 here, which one.... click :)

Idiots, trying to fool an IT person. Next time I will play dumb and use my sacrificial lamb system and play along to get the info they are trying to exctract and then put them on DNS attacks from around the world :)

They call ed me and refused to answer NE 1 of my questions then just talked over me, I thin we should put in a class action suit, email me at q_access@hotmail.com

Who ya gonna sue? This call is either from India or Africa

We received a call tonight saying our computer was sending them messages. My husband asked which computer and they said the computer. He hung up on him. He had an Indian accent.unk

Received call this morning. love answering and screwing with them. Girl says, Hello? I say hello back. she says Hi sir I am Iris and this call is about your computer. i said " My computer?" How do you know i have a computer?". she hung up...LOL

Be careful..... this number (510) 943-3040 called me and was trying to walk me through some sort of Microsoft Support issue. Anyway, I played along having never run Microsoft ( well maybe windows 3.0) as I am a Linux nut.

Definitely a scam and I was tempted to pull out my old 386 and play along :)))))))

I just had a call from an East-Indian sounding man who said he was calling about my computer generating malicious Internet activity.  

He said that he was authorized by Microsoft for all Windows operating systems....

As I further explored what he was about, he hung up.

Just got the same dumb A$$ , The only problem is they really need to learn to speak English if they want to try and scam someone, The only way I could figure out he was trying to say MS was from reading these posts LOL. Someone needs a new line of work. 510 943 3040

Just had the same call - told him I had a Mac - he said he must have the wrong number.

Just had one of their phone calls too.  I really couldn't understand his accent and asked him to repeat it 3 times.  It was something about my computer and a browser I think.  I finally told him we didn't speak the same language and hung up.

Just received a call from them. They knew my name and told me I had a Windows computer. I told them no, I have a Mac... Then there was dead air.

Received a call from this number at 8:44 a.m. on Memorial Day!  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  Now I know it's a scam so I will continue to ignore the calls.

same [***] different pile. Blocked the sucker.   Thanks to all of you for your comments. I just used #60 to use Bell Call Screen to block these morons.  Bell has been flooding me with calls from BELL trying to sell me services.  I had to go to customer loyalty to get them to stop that, as their own call screening system won't stop their sales staff from India calling me.  So here is a hint to get to customer loyalty with Bell without being sent offshore:  call 416 310 Bell  and then press 6 and 6 again , to get to a person in Canada who won't ask you a zillion useless annoying questions and will do what is asked.  I also got Bell to dump the overage internet charges they were gouging me as well.  Different department 416 310 bell, then press 6 and 6 again and INSIST on someone working in Canada.

They call me 4-5 times a day saying they are USA Auto Finance and I've just been approved for a 20K auto loan.  I asked for their routing number and they tried to give me MY phone number.  I'll block them later,,,, having too much fun with them now.  Think I'm going to be murdering my wife next time they call!!!  ;-)

I HATE getting any phone calls for anyone unless it is family or a company that I do business with, so whenever I receive a 'scam' call I answer with the intention to try to talk them into a corner.  They always hang up on me.  How the heck are they even getting our phone numbers anyway.  I really hope no one is crazy enough to give them access to their computer.
