I live in California and get  this harassing call day and night .someone suggested that I buy a caller Id machine which has a call blocker function. I  think consumer affairs in Sacramento might be able to help or look up a website called ; www.pipl.com(for investigations)  never answer a call until you hear the recording! They've been calling everyday and annoying me with their messages. I just called the 800#, and to my surprise, they were very polite. Our # is listed with just a first initial and last name. They were looking for someone else with that initial. We get calls due to this frequently. I think all our calls are junk...So frustrating.  I'm not sure why we even have a home number...ugh

Zapped a THIRD TIME by Nomo.

FOURTH TIME.  Nomo zapped.  Won't stop.  Now blocked.

SOB's call every two or three days.  No way to remove them, so I'll just block them.

I get calls 3-5 times a week from these guys, Municipal Services Bureau, on my work phone number only, never my personal cell phone number.  I called them back, in early September and they told me I had outstanding "parking tickets" from 2011 & 2012 that needed to be paid.

First of all I never go to the downtown area where we live so I have never received parking tickets here.  They told me I could go to their website, www.msbselfserve.com and request copies of the citations so I could verify they were valid.  I have done that TWICE in that past 60 days, receiving email verification's of my request both times but have yet to receive copies of the actual citations.

This seems very fishy to me.  If they aren't going to send the "proof", why would I pay?  I Googled Municipal Services Bureau today and a website for http://www.gilacorp.com/ came up so I sent a message there telling them to STOP contacting me!  This is ridiculous!

This number calls repeatedly over several months, it is an automated recording, with no one to speak directly to.  They call using the number above, they never tell us what they are calling about!  They do leave a call back number, but the recording speaks too fast and does not repeat so it is lost to me.

Called 4 times today.  It's been permanently blocked but doesn't seem to understand.  I only know it called from checking our missed called records online.

They keep calling at all times of the night like repeatedly. Way too much.

This is a scam.  My wife got scammed by someone claiming that they were respresenting Wal-Mart for a shoplifting charge, for which she had already paid the fine & reparations.  This sounds like the same kind of thing, except with traffic/parking tickets.  Do NOT pay anything to these people.  If you really owe something, you'll get something official in the mail, or a visit from a process server.

Calls all the time!,says to call urgent matter!!  Stick I cause I will never answer!

They keep calling.  I keep ignoring because no one important calls you without leaving a detailed message!!!!  I am not a fool....

A lot of serious complaints about this group.  Seems they don't do a good job of contacting the right people even if they have been contracted by local governments and apparently given all the information they need.  Could be they are using a shotgun approach--send out letters to anyone who might have the same name as the party they are looking for and see who responds.

I took the time to return the call from caller ID. when i called it was some male voice who sounded half asleep. the male caller came up with a name very similar to mine. stated he would remove my name from the list, i reported it to DO NOT CALL LIST. it is a scam and they call every single day. mostly at meal time

Called our office at 7 PM last night, but did not leave a voice mail. Caller ID listed the number and "GILA CORP".

No voice mail. I have read the feedback on this site and get the idea.

Well, hears my story. Been driving since 1971. My driving record has no speeding violations, accidents nor anything else which come to mind.

So why they are calling me is anyone guess.

The problem I have is......they don't ask for any one by name. They leave a message for you to call an eight hundred #!! If you are so legit why don't you ask for the person you are looking for. How do you know if you have the right person? I get wrong number calls all the time. So my thought is if you don't ask for me by name you are blocked no matter how many numbers you call from.

Got this one a couple of days ago:  "This is a message from the Municipal Services Bureau.  Please be advised that this is neither a sales nor a solicitation call.  We are contacting you in reference to an important matter.  Please call us at 1-800-295-0851 as soon as possible.  We are open until 11:00 PM Central Standard Time Monday through Friday and 5:00 PM Central Standard Time on Saturday."    These [***] have been mailing us a photo ticket for a year for a lousy roll-through a stop sign.  ANY traffic ticket must be presented in person by an officer of the law and anything else can be tossed in the trash.  It is unconstitutional to attempt to serve a traffic ticket via usps.  And Hidden Hills, CA, you cannot be that hard up for a lousy few $$$!   You want money, go hunt down a Kardashian or two!!  Idiots
