Do not pickup.... Thanks - CookieI keep getting calls to my cell phone from this number. When I answer there is a recording trying to sell something.
How do I get them to stop calling?? - MarjorieMacy's Call Ctr. I tried calling the customer service at 1-877-492-9207 and speak to a rep requesting my phone number be placed on a no call list. I'll see if that works!

- JobenheimerUnbelievable! Just got this call, no message left on my cell phone. After reading all the posts from people here, I about flipped my lid when I read it was Macy's. What is SO INTERESTING is that I had bought some things a while back at Macy's, St. Louis, Missouri.
I have excellent credit history, etc., so I was less than pleased when they tried to tack on a late payment fee. Uh, ...NO....what happened was that in requesting to make online payments instead of snail mail statements, there was a delay on THEIR END, and I did not know because I did not receive a paper statement OR online statement. I explained this, requested they reverse that late fee, and nope, only could reverse HALF of it. None of their customer service reps I talked to in ensuing months gave a crap, and it kept getting worse....I would send a payment, and literally these payments and their statements crossed in the mail and they kept on adding late fees, etc. I finally finally got through to someone who listened and he reversed all the late charges and I promptly paid the balance then said to close my account with that LOW_RENT store because I would never buy anything from them again. And I also let him know that I work with people all over the United States and so would be letting them know that Macy's is a poor substitute for Marshall Fields and basically a trashy store with even trashier people.- Caller: Macy's
- cool23 replies to Shaftoe| 2 repliesYes, I love to shop in Macy's but hate these calls from 513- 573 8031. They are annoying and becoming bad to worse. Unable to tolerate. I called that number and asked for Supervisor. After a argument I finally spoke to the Super who was unbelievable polite and kind. But I keep getting these annying calls once in a while. No way to stop it. Guess have to live with it if you want to be a loyal customer of Macy's
- BarrieI got a call from this number last Saturday. I had paid my bill over the phone on Friday. I had been having issues with their website and wasn't able to log in to pay my bill. It was 2 days late. Anyway, I paid it and they said I was all set.
Then I get a call from this 513 number, saying I haven't paid my bill. I advised that I did, the day before, and I have a confirmation number. I said I paid $xx.xx, and the guy said I owed $7 more than that, which was the late fee. I advised that when I spoke with Macy's the day before, they said they would waive the late fee because they were having problems with their website. The guy said that he had no record of this, and wanted me to pay over the phone. I advised that I would not do that, and I would call the number on the bill I received from Macy's.
I called that number and they said that this company was calling people who were late on payments. They said that my payment was recorded, but not processed yet. He also said that they would waive the fee.
Well I just got another call from this number, I didn't answer it, no voicemail. But if they're trying to get me to pay again, I'm going to lose it! I've never been late on a payment to Macy's EVER. I don't see why/how my payment wouldn't have been processed already. Geesh leave me alone!!- Caller: Macy's

- JohnNumerous calls from this number, I haven't answered any of them as I don't answer calls I don't recognize the number. And they don't leave a voice mail, so they don't get answered. IT is still very annoying....
- tyliatoo many calls. no name no anwser.
- macysgalIf you are getting numerous calls from this number, or another number tracking back to Macy's CALL MACY'S. It's possible your account is in collections or has been flagged for possible ID theft and you need to get it resolved.
Call the customer service phone number on the website. Don't call the mysterious Ohio number.
I received 3 calls from two different numbers tracing back to Macy's. Out of curiosity, I logged into my Macy's account and discovered that I had inadvertently missed a payment. I called the customer service number on the website and payed the bill over the phone with a very nice representative. Quick and easy.
So call Macy's 800 number and ask why they're trying to get ahold of you.- Caller: Macy's

- macysgal replies to ChrisCall Macy's 800 number, silly! If they don't know why you've been getting calls then you'll know it's a scam. If there's an account open in your name you might want to do something about it!
- nymala replies to SusieHAHAHAA I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!! I had the same thought just the other day after the gazillionth call from this #!! Im doing it! :)
- CeCee replies to Card HolderI can't believe you gave out your name and address, are you nuts? You just gave them information they were FISHING for
- StephaniePlease be assured this is NOT a Macy's phone number. I got these calls for several days from various phone numbers, including this one. It came listed as "Unknown name," on my caller ID. Another one this scammer uses is a 727 area code.
Here's the deal: I actually work for Macy's. When I told the caller this today, they immediately hung up. I went to our HR department yesterday afternoon because of a call I'd received the day before (from that 727 area code, which was listed on my caller ID as "MCCS." They identified themselves as calling from Macy's Credit Card Services. They quickly hung up once I informed them I'm a Macy's employee.
I was told by our HR person that they are aware of this phishing scam and it's, unfortunately, a never-ending one. They are not a part of Macy's at all, but they try to use a well-known company in the hopes that some people will be fooled. They prey on those who are easily fooled into faxing or emailing their credit card information so it can be stolen.
The scammers call from thousands of different phone numbers because they cancel the phone numbers once the public is onto the scam. Best advice: Don't answer the phone. Reporting the calls as soon as possible online at http://www.DoNotCall.gov is the best way to stop it, but it will take time. If everyone who gets these scam calls reported them, the scammers will be stopped.- Caller: UNKNOWN NAME
- JavaManPretty much the same is happening to me. No answer, no message. I am getting this from other centers that I have no responses. The only thing they have accomplished is waking my grand daughter who is a toddler from her nap. This is not conducting business in an ethical manner. My peace and peace of mind is disturbed for no just reason.

- AllyThe phone call is indeed from Macy's. I called the number back and I apparently overlooked my bill that was due on June 20, 2011 and I received a phone call today (June 28, 2011). I guess I'm actually glad they called so quickly so I could avoid getting reported to the credit bureaus.
- JaneserzI'm getting calls from this number at all hours of the day. It is pissing me off! If I pick up, nothing happens. The call simply disconnects after a couple of seconds. How the hell do I get rid of this???!?!
- TI had a similar horrible experience. MACY's applied the payment of my Macy's card to the Amex part -where we had no balance due- for two months, and then sicked their Indian Harassment Center on us. They would call us seven times a day, would not tell us what the problem was while ASKING FOR OUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER- which we did not give them. I told them never to call for any reason again three times. I though they were a phishing scam. They called seven times a day again. When I called the Macy's number on the back of my card, they explained they applied the payment of the exact amount for the Macy's charge to the Amex where we owed nothing- they tried to blame my wife for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- They never notified us by mail, there was no normal call from an American working for USA Macy's. They would have kept calling seven times a day and who knows what else if I did not go online to figure out what this was about and then call directly from the card.
They know their system is horrible, It is all over the internet, and Macy's does not care. They have been doing it for years. It is borderline criminal. It is poorly done and mean spirited. They tormented us rather than look to see THAT THEY MADE A MISTAKE.
I have never been so incensed with a company in my life. Ever. Multiple times I told the indian rep company to stop calling the house and have Macy's email or mail us and that we could not give out credit card out to some foreigner who calls us seven times a day and then asks for it when we take their number off our caller ID.
Macy rep from America was nice- but I am sure she hears this all the time- and is obligated to deflect everything- Macy's does not care or have any insight on how horribly they are being run. BTW< if you ask the Indian torture company to connect you to a USA rep they have to I found out later.
We have impeccable credit-we are never later or miss- perhaps we should sue Macy's to make a point. This disrupted me and took a day away from my work.
Anyway, Macy's business practice are incompetent and border on criminal. I am going to close everything out with them as soon as possible and will not buy a stick of gum from them forever- and we went their a lot before. Never again,
I do not know what I would have done if this had been in person; I have never been so angry with a company in my life.
And as far as the Indian collection division- HIRE SOME UNEMPLOYED AMERICANS!
Wow, between the multiple calls and the calm " we are right and you are wrong and tell us all your personal information and we might tell you why we keep ignoring you direction to not call you"- wow- NEVER have I ever been more angry. I am not sure what I would have done if this had been in person. This has been so stressful.
Maybe a lawsuit is what they need to stop this horrible recurrent business malpractice.- Caller: MACY's
