- Caller: Macy's
- Tiffany RennieI am on the registered DNC list I keep getting calls from this unknown number and no one leaves a message.
- Caller: possibly Macy's???
- Mercedes replies to SusieThat's AWESOME! I'll have to try that with another of the phone numbers that calls me constantly! Now, if you had any ideas for a number I can't find in whitepages.com, that calls me and leaves no messages, and then says nothing when I do answer, that is NOT Macy's, I'd love to hear them, lol. :) Thanks for the great idea!
- smd1227 replies to PatI already contacted Macy's about this and got no response from them.
- JamesI kept getting numerous calls from this and another number from Macy's. The caller ID showed Mason, OH. I also got repeated numbers displayed on caller ID as MCCS from 727-556-7300. I called back the Mason, OH number at 513-573-8031 and talked to a service rep with an obvious Indian accent. As I suspected, Macy's was trying to reach the person who had my phone number previously. I explained that she no longer lived at this number, and the service rep politely informed me that he would delete my phone number from their system. Hopefully, this will stop the continuous calls I've received from these numbers.

- Walt replies to ShaftoeOne time a caller asked if I was someone's husband. I said "no, I'm her boyfriend but please don't let her husband know we're having an affair!". They didn't call back.
- ag replies to lalaI don't have any store credit cards I get 3 calls a day everyday they never leave a message im used to it instead of my kids saying mom the phone rings 4 times and the machine picks up.
- bananabread| 1 replyI usually don't answer calls i don't recognize, but after repeated calls a day from this number for the past 2 weeks i decided to pick up.
to make a long story short, this is a fraud! the lady claiming to be working for macy's said i had an outstanding bill of over $800 and have accumulated late fees of over $100.
after i told them i'd have to check my macy's account online before making any sort of payment. the lady asked when i'd be making a payment and if i'd give information on a postmarked check. of course, i said no.
i called the customer service number on the macy's website and they verified that my account was current with a zero balance. needless to say, i was relieved.
what worries me is that this could only mean that the person originally making the call is trying to get any sort of information about me to hack into my identity.
be careful, people! - violetrose replies to bananabreadI am sick and fed up with these calls. How many people coming to type this phone number into google to get more info are upset at the fraud going on while everyone is watching. 10 pages so far of this, and nothing. Obviously no one cares. And then that says it all. For anyone finding this on their search, please try to write everything down that you encountered on your fraud calls. In case anyone reading this needs to understand this is pure fraud by an outside of the US phone number. Blocking the number doesn't help against the identity theft they are attempting to do. Protect yourself and try to get as much info from these scamsters as possible to use it against them,
- ZackCalled me several times in a few days. I called back and would not identify themselves. I kept asking to stop calling and they kept asking for my name, which I repeated 10 times before they understood me. She kept asking me for names.
- LiliThey began calling about a week ago under the Caller ID of MCCS from 727-556-7300 telling me that I had a balance due. I was looking right at the statement and the bill was not due until July 21 - almost two weeks later. I told the caller to knock off the calls. This was after several days of them hanging up without leaving a message or even hanging up when I did answer. The called at minimum four times per day.
Then while I was on vacation this week, they called from an Out of Area number - 513-573-8031. These calls were also made up to four times per day, with no message and in conjunction with the calls from the MCCS number. So, about 6-8 calls per day with no message. Not knowing who held this number, I called and there was no answer regarding who it was, only that "Your call may be monitored." followed by music and then an announcement that all operators were busy and the call would be answered in the order received". Never was there an announcement that it was for Macy's. FINALLY when someone answered, I could barely understand her when she said she was with Macy's credit card services. I told her that the bill was not past due that it was in my hand. She asked for my card number so she could check the situation. I almost started to give it to her, then I told her no way was I giving my card number to anyone that I could not identify.
This is not the first time Macy's has done this. These clowns must get a percentage of every bill that is paid and Macy's is apparently stupid enough to allow this even for current accounts.
I did call the number several times, wait for the Voice Response to answer and place me in the hold cue and then hang-up. Dropped calls are a big red mark for a call center so everytime they lose a call it is a strike against them especially if the hold time is excessive. I ultimately waited them out because that too goes against them. The 513 number likely belongs to a contracted third-party and lthey will have to report things like dropped calls, hold or wait time, length of call, etc. It could mean the difference between contract renewal or not. So if you're feeling devilish, just call and hang up after the automated response fully engages and puts you on hold. Of course, this is time consuming, but can easily be done while doing things like gathering the trash.- Caller: Macy's - or so they claim
- Call type: Debt collector
- RichThere's no reason to be mad at Macy's. I'm sure some scammers have managed to assign the Macy's name to the number to create some level of confidence. Simply put, someone's trying to steal from you and there's not much we can do except not answer the phone.
- Caller: Mason, OH
- KimI get multiple calls from this number a day with no message. How can I make it stop?
- AnnoyedThis number 513-573-8031 called me as well. I called in Macy's and my account is not overdue. The phone rep could not explain why I would be getting a call. I gave the 513 to the phone rep and requested that she notifies some authority to have this looked into.
- Caller: "Private call"

- stopcallingmeReceived a called from this number for the past 4 days. I get at least 2-3 calls a days. It is so annoying! By the way I don't know anyone from Ohio so why is this person keep calling me?
- AnnoyedThis number calls several times per day, for the past few weeks. When I finally answered it, the line went dead. I called back, and the person stated it was for a personal business matter. He would not reveals what it was for. Go ahead and keep ignoring these calls, since he was trying very hard not to reveal the company or his name. Pretty sure it was outsourced from India. Do yourself a favor and call Macy's directly, if you think there may be a problem with you credit account.
- Caller: Claims that they are Macy's
- drepeated unwanted calls
- In the knowI received a call from this jerk today in ref to my Macys bill. He was so arrogant I wanted to choke him. I unloaded on him and he hung up. I then googled the number and found an address at 117 West Main, Mason Ohio. Its a brick face office next to an art studio. Please pay him a visit if you are nearby. I will never shop macy's again.
By the way I could not block the number on my paticular but I did do this...I recorded a 2 sec silent voice memo in my phone, then entered the number in my contacts. I then set the voice memo as the ring tone for the number. I will see that the jerk called but my phone will not ring.... I'm going to do this for all the other jerks that call.....keep fighting!- Caller: Macys
