Talked to someone at a call center in Arizona. It's MACY'S. Said they can call even at one day late. Told him to cancel account, I will shop at SEARS as MACY'S is overpriced anyway. Might as well hit them where it hurt$. Like I said yesterday: Hello KOHL'S and SEARS.

I've been getting 5- 6 calls a day from this number.  I couldn't figure out who it was until I Googled the number and saw these posts.  I then checked my Macy's account on-line.  Apparently, my account was 4 days past due, but I had no record of receiving the statement.  (Again, I repeat FOUR days past due).  After 20 years of having a Macy's account and always paying on time, this harrassment was unnecessary, to say the least.  I paid my bill and cancelled my card.  I don't need this and they don't deserve my business.  What a shady store.

Someone from this phone number called this morning, and then again this afternoon. My husband answered it this afternoon and Miss Ingram identified that she was calling on behalf of Macy's regarding my account. My husband said she was very rude! He told her that I could call her back. She gave out 877-222-5847. When I called that number later, it was a pornographic adult line!!!

If you select the number they called from and hit "Options" on your phone, it should give you a menu that includes "Add to block list" or something similar.  That will keep your phone from ringing when this number calls -- but you'll still see the blasted call listed when you open your phone.  

It astounds me that a reputable company like Macy's is allowing this to happen.  But if enough people close their accounts, they may get the message.

We've been getting between 2 to 5 calls everyday for 3 weeks.  They hang up each time I pick up the phone.

Macy's and Bloomingdales share the same collection agency.  However, it took me three calls and 20 minutes on the last call, speaking to an English-as-a-fifth-language person, to understand what the issue was.

Got a call and picked up on the scam immediately. My wife has an inactive Macy's card, but my new cell phone # is not associated with that old account. They told me to have my wife call back at 800.345.1256 which is a fax machine.

I get up to 7 calls a day from this number. When I answer, no one talks and they disconnect the call after 12 seconds. If I don't answer, they don't leave a message. This is harrassment, pure and simple. How do I report them? Who do I report them to? I really don't need this.

I wakeup to about 3-5 calls from this #, a 605 # and a (253) # It's extremely annoying because I have all my bills paid, when I try calling them back they don't pick up.

I agree 100%!!! We have to do something! I am SO sick of having my phone actually start ringing BEFORE my alarm goes off at 7:15 EACH morning, then the entire day at work where I work as an software engineer & it's not customary to have your phone ring off the hook like you're some rock star! It seems everytime my boss passes by, those goons decide to give their automatic dialed w/ my # on it a spin! I can't turn my phone off because I'm a single mom of an 8 yr old boy & can't be closed off from him in case something happens.

It's gotten so bad, that I jump each time my phone rings & I have anxiety waiting for it to ring. The calls usually come back to back first from this (513)... Number & then from an (800) or (888)/ (877) number. They have an arsenal it appears. I haven't ever answered & tonight finally got so annoyed after the 2 back to backs interupted my quiet time with my son at 8:45pm tonight that I went to Google & searched by the # and thankfully found you guys.

I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get rid of these obnoxious crazies. I'm honestly considering having an older sounding friend answer the phone & tell them I was murdered 2 weeks ago & it's an open investigation & the police have been monitoring my phone & have just returned it to the family because they've been searching for a mysterious group that's been calling my numberall day non stop & not leaving messages. The police consider these stalkers people of interest in my death & told my family if they call & get them on the phone to ask them to turn themselves in!!! LMAO! I bet I'll never hear from them again after that!

I don't have a Macy's Acct either.
I just saw another post & saw that Bloomingdales also uses the same collection agency as Macy's.
I'm so sad, I used to love Bloomies, but after this lame treatment the account is getting closed double time. I've never been so annoyed or harrassed so far in my entire life!

got 3 phone calls from them in one day for no reason. Why big company like macy hire this scum in first plance? their reputation totally destroyed in my head.

Calls multiple times a day, picked up a couple of times and always nothing on the other line.  But I hang up right away if no one answers within the first few seconds.
These calls come in morning, early evening, afternoon, and night.

somethign definitely is going on.  Similar experiences.

I received 8 calls from 513 573 8031  .. telling me it is important business call .. i told them I am reporting to police .. they hung .. after five / six hours later .. i got another call from this number asking .. this is SPAM number .. beware ..

I have gotten two phone calls from this number. It will ring twice and then they will hang up before I answer. I just did a google search and I see this is happening to a lot of people. WTF! Who are these people from 513 573 8031 and how did they get our number?

i get 2 to 4 calls per day. i'm getting tired of checking my caller id 513 573 8031. no message. i told them to stop calling but they have not. my wife does have a macy's card. i think i'll call them or star rewards.
