I also have a Macy's card, and someone left a voicemail on my phone while I was on the line with my mother telling me my father had an attack... I hope it is related to Macy's and not funerals...

i actually work at macy's and one day i had a cust call in and told me about this call that she received from this number well i just want everyone to know for the record that macys will never call and ask anyone for their account number, or any personal identification info EVER. we already have it on file.we don't need you to give it to us if you do get a call like this then pleas call the number on the back of you macys card. or call the store and they can give you a correct 800 number to call. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHEN THIS HAPPENS TO YOU OR IF YOU GET A CALL LIKE THIS again we would never ask you for any of your personal info EVER.

Call came thru several times in last few days I finally answered this morning at work and it was just a courtesy call from Macys. I had checked this site yesterday and saw the concerns from all of you I was concerned that they would be phishing for info. I made a payment to my Macys acct at the same time, it was a month past due, oops. The Mrs Carter that called me did ask for me to make a payment but I declined saying I already made a payment. She confirmed my address and that was all.

so this number (513-754-9822) calls me and after a few days this time they decide to leave a message, claiming it is an important business matter. i eventually call back, they know my name and ask for my info "to veryify it's really me". i give them a fake ssn and fake dob, and then she says "thank you for the verifying, now all we need is your bank info to make a payment". dude, i dont even have a card anymore. so i just keep giving them a hard time and eventually hang up on them.

I just got a call from them. Pretended like they couldnt hear me when I answered and just kept saying hello and they hung up. Have a Macys account

i recieved a call from this #. after checking this site, i contacted macys # listed on my credit card, my acct is in good standing and no payment owed til next month. The person ( who could not speak english) that answered could not tell me why person calling would not have any info on my acct except for my name and she could not tell me if this is a legit macys # or not. what a waste! i am getting rid of my macys card!  its a joke to try to get help from them.

I got a call from an automated system with that telephone number.  It asked to standy, all their operators were busy but there was an important matter to discuss.  I do not have Macy's card, or any other retail store card.  So, if it's the same company - it's a total scam.

I too receive phone calls from this number.I have caller ID and never pick it up. When I googled this number I came to this site recognizing this number to be from Macy's.. I DO NOT HAVE A MACY'S ACCOUNT.. Go figure..!

How did you get the map for this number since it is listed as "unpublished" or "unavailable"? If you Google Lakeview Drive, Mason OH, and zoom in on the aerial view, you will see that it is a residential area, and Macy's is definitely not located there. The correct contact information for Macy's Credit Services, as shown on their website, is indicated below.

i have been getting calls from this number as well. i am glad i checked up on this because - there is something fishy about an important business message for me since i don't really have any important business.  i do have macy's card and it is current and paid.  thanks for posting!

We recieved a call from this number asking for my father in law and saying that he is from CIG, we got scared and hanged up and he called right back and asking why we hanged up and he sound angry and telling us to stay on the line and we need to get our father. so we just hang up again.

Received a number of calls over the last few days from this number.  I didn't recognize the number, so I let it go, no messages left.  Answered it once (yesterday), and it said something to the effect of "all our operators are busy, please hold".  Got a call just now and a voicemail message was left to call 866-593-3926.  I have no plan to call the number, but would be interested if anyone had a message left.

They're still calling. I got a call this week. Does anyone know how to stop them? This sounds really a criminal thing. Can anywhere else besides macy's handle this company?

This lady "Shaunece Butler" keeps calling and asking for my sister and I keep telling her my sister is not in right now and then she would give me this number to tell my sister to call her back 1800-545-1256. She calls the land line every evening. I was sick and tired so I decided to google this number and see what its all about and then stumbled upon this site. I had no idea it was macys and when did macys start harrassing people un-neccessarily. Now that I know who they are, thanks to this site, I will wait for them to call one more time and tell them off completely. My house is not a  "Customer Service"!!!!!

Someone with a last name Gould called my parents' house number and said that it's very urgent, important matter. My mom asked what is it regarding to and the woman said it's private and she can only speak to me.
My mom was sharp enough to tell the lady she cannot give her my cell phone number because she doesn't want me to get any spam.
The return number the woman left was also 1 800 545 1256. I have a Macy's card that's completely paid off and I "canceled" the account over a year ago... but I received a statement and they never closed it.
I'm glad I googled the number before calling back!

the number is indeed from macy's, they are on a dialer system and it is bad, calls more times than they should...

This number called several times in the middle of the night for about a week straight.  We would call back and the person on the other end of the line would say they never called.  Finally got a hold of someone who stated our number would be removed from their calling database as we were not the person they were looking for.  I do not know what kind of company they were representing, maybe collections???

I kept receiving this call many MANY times a day and would not answer because it was an out of area call. They left a message saying it is Macy's calling on an important business matter and to call back 800-545-1256. About an hour after that message I decided to google the number and came about this website and read everything that was written by others. The next day I received another call from the number and decided to answer. The lady asked for me and I asked her what this was regarding and she said it is for a late payment. I got so mad and started yelling at her telling her that Macy's would not be calling my home about a late payment if they need to contact me they would do so by mail and I already looked up this phone number and I know this is a scam so DO NOT CALL MY HOUSE AGAIN. This was a week ago...today I received another call and answered again as if I had never spoken to them before. The man said that i had a revolving balance of $31.64 on my account and asked me if i wanted to settle it right now for only $30. I told him again that if I get one more call from this number I will contact my local police station for harassment because I am sick of them calling my number 10 times a day. Thank God for caller ID. PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THESE PEOPLE ASK IT IS A SCAM AND THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO STEAL MONEY. THEY DO HAVE THE CORRECT NAME BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS USE AN INCORRECT BALANCE WHICH SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY THROW YOU OFF. IF IT HAPPENS EITHER CONTACT MACYS OR YOUR POLICE.
