They call 6-7 times a day. I explained my bank account was on hold due to the theft of my purse and I would pay the following Monday. I got 6-7 calls a day everyday till I paid. That is ridiculous :)

I get calls from this number every single day. I do shop at Macy's but have never had a credit card with them, or with any other stores for that matter. So I don't believe they are legit but I never answer and they don't leave a msg. I wish they'd leave me alone!!!!

This number calls several times per day and will not stop. We tell them they have the wrong number and they will not stop calling. Harassing us daily.

Completely legit call from Macy's regarding past due accounts.

Their call went to my voicemail but I'm assuming they were trying to tell me my account was past due. But it isn't due until Jan 7th so I have no idea why they would need to call me.....could be a scam.

Since I was getting 5-6 calls a day from this number...and there was no one on the phone when I answered, I called the number.  It was Macy's Collection Services.  The person was very polite.  They did inform me of an overdue unpaid bill due, Dec 21.  Around the holidays, I was not on top of my bills, like I usually am.  I researched and found the paperwork that confirmed that what they were telling me was true.  I did not pay over the phone.  I asked why no one is on the other end when I answer their calls.  They apologized that it is due to the long delay in their automatic dialer system.

I've been getting calls from this # for the past 2 weeks in a row and same time, never fails. Caller ID says Macy/Bloomies. Haven't answered and no mess. left.  Never ever had Macy/Bloomies credit card.

Called today to tell me I owed Macy's and had missed a payment.  Told the caller that I had just received my statement and actually they owed me money.  I asked how they would like to pay me :). I got no response.  Number is now blocked on my cell phone.

Calls from 513 area code and either 754 prefix or 573 prefix 727 area code with 556 prefix began about two months ago and happen several times nearly every day. When I have answered there is no one on the other end -- obviously robo-calls. When I call back I get a message saying "you have reached a non-working number at Macy's customer services". I have never had any business with Macy's and I'm on the Do Not Call List. I see here that this has been going on for at least 5 years now. Time to contact my state's Attorney General.

STOP CALLING. Ready to file a law suit. 20 times a day is OUTRAGEOUS and nobody answers.

I just called my local Macy's store after trying their national alleged 'customer service' number and waiting on hold for 35 minutes before giving up. At the local number I got a long menu of options too (including asking for my full Social Security number!) but kept pushing '0'. I then got a list of options that included pressing '5' to be placed on Macy's Do Not Call List. I got a person right away, explained that I have no business with Macy's whatsoever and he said he would take my number out of the system. Here's hoping! If not I'll be filing complaints with the federal Consumer Financial Protestion Bureau, my state's Attorney General (what they're doing violates federal and state law) and will be filing a private tort claim.
