They call numerous times a day after we've made arrangements with Macy's to pay them.  From. Now on we won't answer this phone numbet

Have a pre- paid card with Macy's. I used it 4 days ago & the phone calls from them started. Well if you don't want us to use it, then why does it let you charge about $70.00 before we have to pay that, to charge again? I bought some holiday nuts from them.  I think they are acting l like a nut! Owe less than $25.00 total & yes Macy's you will get paid, so stop harrassing people.

I have received 39 calls from 513 area code phone numbers in Mason, OH (513-573-8028, 513-754-9874, 513-573-8038, and 513-754-9841) the past week. Now they are calling from 727-556-5492 in St. Petersburg, FL as well. I have already had 3 calls today from both area codes. I get up to 6 calls a day, including weekends. I thought solicitors are not allowed to call on Sunday's, so I'm not sure what this is. The 513 #'s said it is for "Macy's/ Bloomingdales," but I have never missed a payment. Then the 727 # said it's for "Macy's Credit Operations." Even if you block the numbers, they will continue to call from another number. I hope someone knows how to get them to stop for good. Please help. Thank you!

P.S. I noticed the calls started a day after I stupidly tried signing up for tickets to a game show online. I will never do that again. They are a third-party scammer trying to get personal information.

Getting calls a lot from different #s with 513 area code. This is NOT Macy's.

It's a scam! I called my Macy's card and the balance they are reporting isn't true!!! Do not answer this number.

called me several times - trying to get me to pay over the phone.  asked them to send me a paper bill.  this became suspicious to me when they kept saying it over and over

calling from multiple 513 numbers.  Says represent Macy's and Bloomingdales credit card collection.  Mentioned a small balance which actually was a balance that we had - but that balance was from more than a year ago!  We have no current balance

For those of you who don't have a Macy's account or don't owe them anything here is what I did. I kept getting calls from Macy's and I don't have nor ever had a Macy's account and don't shop there so I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The calls got stopped and I got a letter from Macy's Executive Office saying my number was entered in error and that I shouldn't receive anymore calls. This is just one of a bank of numbers used by this scam ring. This is a phishing scam. DO NOT answer regardless if you have a Macy's account or not. Simply answering will confirm to them that they have a "live" number, which will insure that you will get even more calls.

Guys and Gals - if you suspect Macy's Credit Customer Service is a scam, call their official credit number.  1-888-257-6757.  I just copied and pasted from Macys.com.  Ask whomever answers their phone and you'll get an answer.  BTW, I called to specifically ask them and it is legit.  Perhaps their employees need better training but it is indeed Macy's/Bloomingdales.  They have their own collections department rather than outsourcing.  They probably can't afford it since Macy's stores are closing left and right.
