I believe we have another job for Seal Team 6 since since the No Call list enforcers are toothless, worthless and obviously overpaid.

I played along and talked with the agent -- he wanted to know if I had been sent a rate reduction within the past 6 months because they were the ones who are monitoring this.  If I hadn't received a reduction, they could contact the credit card companies to make this happen.  "Shouldn't I be contacting them myself then?  I'm uncomfortable working with a 3rd party."   "We OWN the credit card companies!" he said.  "Really??!"  "Yes!  We do, we can get them to lower the rate for you!"  "But, I don't think I should be working with someone other than AMEX or Visa or the issuer of the card."  "Well, good luck getting them to do anything for you..."  <click>

Same as the rest.  These scammers can spoof any phone number they want to.  Recently I received a call two numbers up from mine on the local exchange, and of course it is not in service because no one has this number at present.  They can call any number, even if you have one that is unlisted, because they dial at random.  They call people who have NO credit cards!  Kind of gives away their game right there.  They have no fear of the Do Not Call List because they seem to be untraceable, and no effort seems to be being made by the law enforcement people to track them down.

Same as messages above.  This is an unidentified credit card company--SCAMMERS.  What happened to the Privacy Act Laws and National No Call Registry--something needs to be done by the FCC to stop this phone harrassment and invasion of unwanted personal privacy.

I have told this company to stop calling many times and they won't.  When I get the operator, and tell her/him they hang up on me. help me.  I do not need to hear from credit card services.

I am getting these calls at least three times a day but it is coming up as a unknown name with no name. They are leaving messages on my machine saying I have a limited time to lower the interest on my credit card. This is the first time a number has showed up and I am reporting it. If I do get the caller they are not going to like me........

machine informed me that this is my "second, and final notice, to change my credit card terms".  the guy I got on the phone, told me his name is John, the company is All in One Services, and when I asked for the corporate address, he said he didn't know. once I asked for a supervisor, I was placed on hold, and then hung up on.

This same company uses a predictive dialer and they do not abide by the DNC registry (illegal) and they "cloak" their Caller ID number, showing this one now but changing them every couple/few weeks and calling back again.  The automated message is also changed, but it is the same company over and over again.  It's obviously a scam of some sort, but I can't figure out that part.  I've tried having them stop calling me, then I've pretended to be seriously interested in their offer, and they always pressure for a credit card number.  Obviously I won't give that up, but one call I pretended to need to get it from my hubby, give me your number & I'll call you right back with it... they gave me a name & number, but again, when I called back, it was fake & the company whose number they used said they get the same calls from time to time.  Next, I resorted to trying to bribe the worker... "keep my number, when you're done working for this company, call me & tell me the real story, and I'll pay you for your time" but still can't track these folks down.  They are very careful about being caught.

So, outlaw unsolicited calls, and only outlaws will make unsolicited calls.

I was considering contacting the FCC, the Iowa State's Attorney General, and the carrier.  But what will that accomplish if they are spoofing the number?

Calls from this number claim to be able to reduce the interest on your credit card. Yes when you press the 1 and try to tell whomever answers they hang up.  One time I did get an answer and was told to "shut the F___ up.  One other time they claimed to be the official representatives of Visa and Master Card.  OK.  Then I think, since no one is enforcing the laws on this crap, perhaps we should file a law suit against Visa and Master Card.  I have a credit card and believe it or not I have never in my life had to use it.  I carry it for emergencies.  I will never use it for things I want.  If I don't have the cash to pay for it, then I don't need it.  There is a law against this kind of soliciting if one is on the call list but there is no one around to enforce it.  Where to you file a complaint?
By the way, these jerks use the call forwarding from telephone companies who charge a very low fee, so the location of their base is not from that number.  Maybe we should sue the tlephone companies.  At any rate. they are rude, nasty and ONE BIG PAIN IN THE [***]!!!!!!!!!!
