- MzDominica replies to steveWINDSTREAM.NET purchased this company in 2010 while there is NO whois info on windstream.net there sure IS for windstream./com and I made sure it is the same company. Below is the information for the person that is in charge of their websites. I have called today once and I will continue to call everyday just like they call me EVERY SINGLE DAY! Its pretty crafty that they made the .net who is empty so no one could track them down but oh yeah I got them now! Call away people :)

- Caller: don't know
- JLathem515-789-7889
Recording states final notice to lower interest rates and payments in conjunction with stimulus package. I did not press 1.- Caller: 515-789-7889
- anonymous replies to enough already| 1 reply"this number has been disconnected or cannot be completed as dialed" suggests the number is spoofed so the caller can be anywhere on the planet.
- anonymous replies to enough for me tooTHIS IS A SCAM. This is a version of the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, lottery winnings, interest rate reduction, tax reduction, gift card, refund, doggie, cruise, vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, registration, insurance, secure handling, processing, etc. They may send you a fake check, may want your credit/debit card or bank account number, or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. They can put recurrent difficult-to-cancel monthly charges or a 1-time charge on your card or bank account, and sell account info to other criminals and you'll have to replace accounts altogether. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. If they want you to call them up for instructions, they may tell you not to discuss the wire with Western Union desk clerks but the real reason is WU clerks are familiar with these scams and will warn you not to wire the money. Report to US Postal Service Inspectors https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.
- ahjohnJust got call from them. Began with recorded msg requesting me to press the no. "1" on my phone to continue. DO NOT press any buttons while connected to this call unless instructed by your phone company and/or the Police. Disconnect the call (hang up), write down the No. showing on your caller id. DO NOT "*69" them! Call your phone provider for instruction for call blocking & call tracing for the Police.
- Caller: unknown
- Call type: Prank
- CalinGAHave received numerous calls from and outfit claiming to aid me in lowering my credit card interest.
Just press 1 to find out more. Have never pressed 1, but did listen for the ending of the call in hopes
there would be a press 2 to be removed from list. Nothing like that. What I find irritating is the calls
in most cases have been late in the evening. Like this call came in on 6/3/2011 @ 20:37. I will block
this number in the future. And not answer any calls showing UNKNOWN NAME for the caller id.
I guess the FCC is too busy to aid anyone on this situation, as they should be shutting them down
fast.- Caller: UNKNOWN NAME
- Call type: Telemarketer
- PamGot a call from this number also. Asked me to stay on the line to lower my rates. It's a bunch of bull [***], don't anwswer it.
- Caller: 515-789-7889
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Lisie610I tried to file a complaint on Do Not Call Registry but, the number hasn't been in service for 31 days. That's how they get around the law.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- NedI didn't answer this call. Have gotten a couple of calls a day from unknown numbers. I don't pick up.
- Andy replies to radarSince the numbers are fake, it could be the callers are off shore, but like you I would like to
open a can of whoop A** on them. - BReceived two calls from this number. Both about "your credit card" and "press 1". I, too, am on the "do not call" list, but keep getting calls from various unwanted sources. :(
- Caller: unknown
- JeanThese idiots call my home all of the time. I tried to get someone on the line to no avail. A recording was playing regarding credit card rates can be lowered by doing some kind of BS. Caller ID reads"UNKNOWN NAME". I got a few names for them that in not appropriate for a lady to say. I hate these annoying pain in the butt calls.
- svetlana marchukovaReceived cvall - can not call back
- Caller: 515-789-7889
- Tom in New HampshireThese guys have also been calling me constantly, though so far it's been when I'm not home. I just get the number (515-789-7889) and "Dexter" on my Caller ID. Clearly scam artists of some sort. Never leave a message, and reverse phone number look ups turn up nothing.Obviously not a legitimate business.
- Caller: 515-789-7889
- bclementsam registered on the do not call but continue to get these unwanted calls. would like this company reported
- MichelleThe company called to suggest that stimulus money was available to lower my credit card balance. No credit card specifically was mentioned. It was almost certainly fraudulent.
- Caller: unknown (515) 789-7889
- B3NT replies to Annie| 1 replyThe city is famous for being the site of a July 23, 1933, shootout between members of the Barrow gang and police from as far away as Des Moines.
Is this at all helpful? At least it should ad entertainment value! - MouseCaller ID said "Iowa call", answering machine picked up;they hung up. Thats what I love about technology. They can call, the machine screens and they still have to pay for the call.
