These guys are getting good.  I actually see a guy's name on the caller ID, so I picked up after 2 rings.  There was no one there, but there was a voice message.  My phone is set up to ring 6 times before it goes to voice mail... wtf?  Yep, and it's the old $1000 scam ... especially for seniors.  Lucky us.

Well, they gotta work somewhere.

They think they're so smart, changing numbers all the time (but still out of Fla or NY).  What's not so smart is they aren't going to get any sales or info.  Always id'd as "toll free" which means TS for them, no answer here.

Thank you very much for this information.  It makes more sense now.  I have always thought I was being very careful with my telephone number...not realizing that just calling an 800 number could give bad guys my number.  Computers are wonderful; but, they do bring on problems also.  Mine came in as a voice mail that I had been referred by my doctor.  We let it ring and then listened to the voice mail.  Again, thank you very much.

I have nomorobo on my phone and this number was not blocked. I've just reported the number to nomorobo. The more reports the sooner this number will be blocked for those of us that use nomorobo.

Will these sleazebags ever stop calling?! Each time it's from a different number. I'm too young for a Medic alert, and even if l needed one, it wouldn't be from their scam! I never answer these calls, and l report every one to the DNC registry, not that it will do any good!

How's medic alert device sold in New York going to benefit someone in Georgia?  Is the NYC FD going to hop a jet to Atlanta? What a flippin' bunch of maroons!
