- Anferney GordawnIf you call these [***] back, they'll make a note in their system that your number is "hot," that there's actually a real live fool they can keep bothering with more surveys! That's how they make money: gathering survey answers from a shipload of audiences/consumers/voters then providing that raw data to the companies who actually analyze that data. So calling them back to plead with them to stop calling you has the opposite effect: now they know for sure you're ready to talk. FOR THOSE DUMB ENOUGH TO VISIT THEIR WEBSITE: Congratulations, your computer/wireless device automatically gives them valuable data about you, your IP address, location*, what kind of computer you have, your internet service company, and your operating system and browser. The website can trick out your computer with cookies and spyware which traces and reports back your web surfing activity! Sound like something you'd enjoy? (*EVEN WITH GPS TRACKING TURNED OFF, YOUR IP ADDRESS STILL PROVIDES YOUR APPROXIMATE LOCATION.) Why, you may ask, does your computer/wireless device reveal all this info about you? Because that, my dear, is how the internet works; this is what allows devices to communicate with each other, and how webmasters are able to control their website traffic. Good luck. YOU MAY ALREADY BE A WIENER!!! If you refuse to accept this information (and instead choose to believe the sham "comments" posted here by people who troll complaint sites and post stories about how EZ it is to have your number removed...how "polite" the company is..."give them a break" and other crap like that -- then SEND ME A $25 PROCESSING FEE and I will send you a valuable prize!!! You're gullible enough to fall for that, too. ;pDpDpDp

- Bejeezys replies to Moonshine MakerGood idea. On my cellphone, I put a dot or period (.) or a small letter (z) at the front if their name to keep all scumbuckets grouped together.
Other fun ideas include just naming all nuisance callers something fun, like DIPWADS or ZPAMMER. Input all of the offending numbers as additional phone numbers for the same "Contact Name" (DIPWADS or ZPAMMER). Then, go ahead and give this Contact a special Ringtone, something super-quiet or pleasant. Or just set them to have No Ringtone. It'll improve your quality of life. - Neilthey call. they don't leave a message. repeat, ad nauseum.
- ML replies to Stacy| 38 repliesIt's funny how angry everyone gets! This company is hired to do surveys for various company's and radio stations. They host focus groups that the respondents get paid for as well. You will complain about your radio stations, your electric bills, etc, but you're not willing to do a quick survey to better them! The simplest thing to do is when they call don't be rude and asked to be removed because all phone numbers are on a random dialer list. If you still receive calls then call 800-734-5548 and a supervisor removes the number. Even if you're part of a do not call list it doesn't apply to FMR because they don't sale anything they just do surveys.
- ML replies to TuttemNot related
- ML replies to visit TucsonCall 800-734-5548 if you call the number will be removed. Be sure to give them your number and helps when you're not rude or nasty. Being on a do not call list don't apply to the company because they're not telemarketers they don't sale anything.
- ML replies to RightIt's not sold to anyone else
- ML replies to mother that is madDo not call list don't apply to FMR all you have to do is call the company or email them and they will remove you. They call during hours that are approved NEVER all hours of the night so it's possibly it's another company.
- ML replies to candyinky| 5 repliesThe phone numbers are not received illegally of course and a lot of people that work for that company are grateful for their job why get another?? If a friend or family member calls you interrupting your day I bet they don't get the same treatment. A simple no thanks or remove me from your list goes a long way!
- ML replies to Teacher Kay| 1 replyA lot simpler is just say this is a classroom and the number will be removed. All businesses are removed
- ML replies to annoyed mommaThen it is impossible for to to have been FMR because they're closed at that time and their systems do not allow them to call that late.
- ML replies to ben| 1 replyThat makes you real mature!
- ML replies to BeatdownIt really don't
- ML replies to BigBOYDefinitely not a scam
- ML replies to RosebudUnfortunately they will never be prosecuted. You need to look into details of the do not call list it doesn't apply to them because they're not selling anything.
- Hazzard replies to ML| 4 repliesWhat kind of company hires mealy-mouthed trolls to skim consumer complaint message boards to offer huffy pseudo-sincere advice on how people should be glad they got bothered at home and have their privacy invaded?
- Go away.... replies to ML| 3 replies....shill.
